After using for few hours, notice my battery dropping quicker and phone got more warm than normal. Went ahead and uninstall it through Cydia, but I remember it was 11-12 mb install, Cydia said space was 0 remove. And, I can still see toggle in sbssetting toggle / move column. Enabling toggle and respringing it doesn't show up when swiping status bar so I don't know what it means. I see ads in safari and cydia so I am assuming it's disable, but still on phone somewhere...."

was abt to take the plunge but adding this modyuri repo is problematic due to server errors, until i saw the above forum posts...

Are there alternative repos other than modyuri? tks

Can't yet comment on battery life as I have not had it installed for that long.

I can however confirm that it does install extra dependencies and when you uninstall it, it just uninstalls the toggle and leaves the other s*it installed.

I had to manually uninstall coreutils; wget and gettext.

Don't know of any other repo but will have a look.

Who cares lol as long as it fixes the problem and as with any Cydia thing u install if u notice same thing happen the dependencies do not get removed most times because sometimes its shared n not unique even if it is I don't think Cydia smart nuff

You mean this..

The good thing is that I can now turn on Adblock for Cydia and switch it off for Safari.
.

What I meant is that I enable the adblock toggle with SBS when I launch Cydia as there are big ads present. I then disable it for normal web browsing as it runs faster without Adblock enabled.

I had the same problems as you guys. xD

I encounter openssh not appearing on ssettings, i tried to reinstall openssh and it fix the issue.

However, the more app setting keep closing in the sbsettings. I been finding sites for a long time and thinking it's me who have this problem. lol

Btw, do i install adblock to have it works? I tried to add in the modyouri repo at repo.modyouri.com

But i cant seems to find adblock toggle in there. Do i need to install this?

Ah right right, I do find that when I enable it when I try to download stuff from cydia.. it doesnt work.. I have to disable and respring...but i've only tried it once or twice.. so cant be sure.

but to me its a non problem just an observation, I now have it off most times.. coz my problem is already solved hehe

jdaniel : SBSettings has just been updated with a fix for this :)

Therefore I have just uninstalled the SBAdblocktoggle (and removed the crap from the hosts file). It no longer crashes.

u mean the sbsettings & sbsettingstoggle hd upgrade? but the nasty ads at the bottom are back? or you just putting up with same?

The latest version of SBSettings no longer crashes if it has trouble loading an advert.

It has retina icons for the 'More' app and has the Serious HD SBSettings theme bundled with it. However the default theme is still non-retina.

The advert banner is still present at the bottom of the screen in the More app but I do not really mind it as I rather have fewer tweaks installed as possible hence why I uninstalled the SBAdblocktoggle.

hey LMD75...tks for the info...

I did what you did...upgraded but the ads at the bottom are back..these pesky ads are an eyesore..casino,escort services blah...worse still they seem to have more variety this time..

But for some reason alot of the admob ads started reappearing in my other apps...argh!

So i took the plunge & installed sbsettingsadtoggle...did everything you did before this hd upgrade..

now the sbsetting ads at the bottom as well as the admob ads in my other apps are gone..phew...

As usual i am monitoring battery life & stability...so far ok..
