I recently purchased SBSS with SB Milanese Loop. I haven't received the watch yet as it's on its way. While I was waiting, I did more research on AW and came to realize that SB Ti might be a better fit for me.

Now I'm in a bit of a dilemma: keep the SBSS or order SBTi?

Ti will likely cost me $200 more, but it comes with the grey sports band which I absolutely adore as well as an extra year of warranty. Plus, Ti has this understated look about it which fits my personality: I am not flashy. I'm also realizing that the Milanese loop isn't the best for working out so if I were to get the Ti then I can order it with the black leather loop and use the grey sports band for when I'm working out.

On the other hand, I can keep the SBSS which looks way better than the SBTi (more dressy) and just replace the Milanese loop with something else with the $200 savings.

Anyone else in the same dilemma?

I have the SBSS w/Milanese loop. Personally I think the SBTi looks like aluminum. I also bought the natural Ti and love The look. The SBSS is as dressy or causal as you want it to be just by changing bands. I don’t think the SBTi looks dressy no matter which band you pair it With. Well, maybe the SB link bracelet.

The extra year of warranty is not really that. You can get Apple Care plus for three years, however it costs more. If you purchased the SBSS, and did monthly Apple Care payments, for three years, the price difference woukd be negligible. The basic warranty, does not cover accidental damage as well as some other things.

You do realize you can completely customize any watch with any band in the store right? You also realize you can get infinitely long AppleCare+ for $4.99/month right?

Keep the SBSS, get the additional band(s) you like, and be careful as the milanese loop WILL scratch the screen and HR sensor.

Unfortunately, neither of your two points is applicable in this particular situation: the band came with the SS watch (as I purchased it through Staples to get the $75 discount) and $4.99 AC+ is not available in Canada.

In the middle of several books.
You didn’t need to create a new thread. You already created a thread on this subject, which is still on the first page of this forum.

I had this dilemma a while back and stuck with the SBSS. It looks sleeker, the screen blends better with the body, and it's more impervious to scratches and scuffs. And the SBSS is already understated by itself, plus if you want a gray band you can get from eBay or something, or with that $200 saving you can even get a link bracelet.
