Hi,

For all residents in Scandinavia to post updates on their shipment of the new notebooks.

I ordered my MacBook the October 22th, and yesterday the status was updated to:
Prepared for Shipment

Hopefully they are going to dispatch it today.
Does Merge In Tnst NL Til means Merge in Transit Netherlands? I ordered an iPod nano too :)

I ordered on the 14th, shipped the 25th, no tracking number given. Rang apple today and they could tell me its been sitting in Holland for two days. Asked them why but they had no answer, probably waiting for parts? I ordered a nano with it but apple promised shipping within 24 hours for it so what are they waiting for? The mail i got states delivery 5-6.11! Incredibly slow shipping!
 
my 2 macbooks just shipped...
does anyone now what freight company they are using nowadays?
 
I ordered one from Finland. Just received it. UPS was my carrier.

Ordered: 14 Oct
Shipped: 24 Oct
Arrived: 28 Oct

The waiting is killing me.

I ordered mine together with a nano the 15th, shipped the 23rd, and was told it'll arrive 4th-5th of november, but was just "upgraded" to the 3rd. Yay!

Still, it's sad that it takes so long...Although checking the shipment status every five minutes isn't really making it feel faster...

MacinJosh: whaaaat?? Your's shipped one day _after_ mine and arrived _today_? Ugh.
Still can't find out what carrier I have btw...

Ordered 2.4 MB + nano. Still no tracking number but the status changed to:

NL DISTRIBUTION CENTER

I assume this will be updated with the final tracking number + UPS or TNT

Still hoping for delivery tomorrow but since I haven't gotten a tracking number yet I guess I guess that's hoping for too much. Too bad since I have exams and stuff so I won't be home on Thu/Fri to sign for it.

Anyone receive their MB + ipod order yet? How long did it take from the merge in NL to final delivery?
 
Feel sorry for you guys who ordered 11-12 days ago and the status still is Not yet shipped.

I ordered mine 7 days ago and it got dispatched yesterday to Denmark through Netherlands.

Can't wait.
 
ordered mine a week ago and today apple said its "Out for delivery". it was in germany yesterday so im guessing denmark today is a fair assumption therefore hopefully tonight!
 
ok, so UPS took the scheduled date off their website and apple said it would be delivered today. this is of course lies! TOMORROW now apparently...
 
Ordered mine on 21st and the estimated arrival is currently 5th nov.
It was in Merge in Tnst NL Til until yesterday but now it says shipped but no info about ups or transports
 
Dane waiting for MB+nano here.

Ordered mine 6 days ago, and I got a tracking number and the message that the shipment is dispatched yesterday.

The estimated date of delivery is the 7th nov :eek: sure hope that aint true. How long can it take to drive a truck from NL to Denmark!

nowords, how long did it take from you got the "shipment dispatched" mail to the delivery?
 
This waiting is killing me!

I ordered the 2.4 on the 20th and today it finally changed its status to "Prepared for shipment", so still quite some time to go.

It's pretty much like having a baby; first you have sex (order), then wait 9 months (building, shipping) and finally the birth (unboxing). Then you hope the baby is cute and healthy (design and hardware flaws).
 
I'm in the same boat but, unlike having a baby, the Swedish government doesn't pay parental benefits for Macs.

Ordered on 25th.

I'll chime in with my info, ordered from Denmark on the 24th.

Just changed this morning, to Prepared for Shipment.

Ships: 3 - 5 business days
Delivers: 05 Nov, 2008 - 10 Nov, 2008

(2.0 stock Alu Macbook, 8gb Silver Nano, HP PHOTOSMART C448 printer)

I'm surprised with the fairly long delivery times on this stuff, seems to be a little over the top.
 
I'm from Denmark, and I ordered on the 17th and it just shipped yesterday the 29th.

Expected delivery: 05 Nov, 2008 - 06 Nov, 2008

I ordered a MacBook 2.4 + 4 GB Ram + Canon Mx310 Printer
 
I am at home waiting for UPS to deliver. Im actually going to the window checking everytime I hear a sound from the road :p I should be studying for the exams tommorow, but that ain't gonna happen. haha
 
Ordered my MB the 16th. It shipped 24/25th.

I contacted :apple: by phone and they told me that all dates in the system currently are wrong.

I've ordered the 16th, currently it's being merged in the Netherlands. They tell me that I can track the order today or tomorrow. It should be delivered Monday or Tuesday - I don't know if i dare to set my expectations.

Mine left Netherlands on the 28th in the evening. It is currently in a UPS truck on its way to my house. I live in stockholm, that's decent time atleast ;)
