I've read of one anti theft device on the watch regarding apple pay but not much else.

Once the watch is paired to a phone is it locked to that phone for good without some sort of code or do you think it will have a factory reset making it a goldmine for thieves?

Iphone thefts have reduced massively no thanks to "find my Iphone" and the activation lock I was wondering if the watch had some kind of similar activation lock?

What do people think on this subject?

Although it doesn't stop people stealing the watch, the following does stop people using the watch.

If the watch is removed from your wrist, the watch needs a PIN to be used again if not the watch is unusable.

As for stealing, just be careful!

EDIT: People above beat me to it.

We have 2000 iPhones at work and every week I get someone who has forgotten their passcode, we plug the phone into iTunes and restore.
What will the process be for people who forget their passcode on the watch?

I would just call Apple, nobody on here can tell you with 100% assurance on how it will work.

A smart thief would demand your phone and pin along with your watch while he has the gun to your gut.
Then what?
