it's a tiny scratch that you can barely notice. there's no way your mbp is going to stay perfect forever.
 
i remember my first scratch, i took good care of it, found a cute work around, put a bandaid over it :p looked cute!
 
hey people, i got a new macbook pro and i have this small and not deep scratch on the lid. i would love to get the scratch off because it is annoying to look at. i got the speck see-thru case to protect it but i still want to get the scratch off. do anyone have any good and cheap products that won't mess up my mac but will get the scratch off?

How deep the scratch is? Can you post a picture?
Al is quite simply polishable. The thing is, it depends from the depth. You could try with very fine sandpaper, probably a 1500-2000 grit and then a finer one, such as 3000 grit.

Instead of a small scratch or blemish he will most likely wind up with a much larger area that does not match the finish of the anodized aluminum.
