My phone has been naked since day one and not a single scratch.

Tomorrow we'll see a post from you claiming your phone was just sitting on your counter, sprouted legs, and did a flying Wallenda off the counter. OMGWTFBBQ iP4=little gremlin.

i have a scratch that's like a speck/dot on my screen because my phone fell out of my pocket while sitting outside :(

just happy nothing chipped or cracked... scared the ish out of me when i heard it hit the concrete

was naked. now using bumper and my screen protector should finally be arriving today...

But shouldn't the glass be at least equivalent to the original iphone? Seem like apple took a step down. Something is not right.

It's the oleophobic coating...I think all the scratches are in it. Having glass that's impossible to scratch, but has a weak coating on it is just stupid. But another member pointed out that it's (in his opinion) MUCH better to have a couple hairline scratches than have your phone constantly covered in oil and dirt. I guess I partially agree with that.

My IP4 screen has finger prints all over it anyway... your oleophobic coating must be much better than mine. To cover this scratch resistant 'engineered glass' with a soft coating was a dumb move.

Well, I don't have an iP4 yet, but from what I've played on at Apple Stores, the coating just makes it much easier to wipe off fingerprints. It doesn't prevent them, but a quick swipe on your shirt or likewise should get them all off.

Exactly. And it makes a huge difference, at least as compared to the screens on the 2 Blackberries I had before my 3GS. I could rub and rub and rub and all it did was smear the fingerprints/grease around the screen--all you need is a couple of swipes on the 3GS or 4 and it's totally clean.

I got the Stealth Armor installed as soon as I bought my phone and don't have a single scratch. Friend's that left their phone naked all have scratches already and they were babying their phone.

I noticed a couple very light scratches on the back right after I peeled off the plastic film that came with the phone. Since it's on the back and I have a feather case to cover it, I don't really care. The front looks awesome, no scratches.

Oh, and I've had a naked screen since iD4 and a case on it (Rocketfish TPU case from Best Buy) since 2 days afterward, and so far (KNOCK WOOD), I'm scratch-free. I do baby the hell out of my phone, though.

The scratch I had that I couldn't see is now visible while I'm using the phone. You can see the sort of "rainbow" it creates on the screen when you tilt up and down. I ordered full body BSE's so hopefully that's the last of the scratches. I'm trying to figure out a way to somehow get this exchanged so I can start fresh with the BSE on it. Anyone have any ideas or should I just cover it up with the BSE and not worry about it?

Tell them your having signal issues, if they ask you to reproduce the issue and you can't just tell them it doesn't happen everywhere.

As many problems as there have been with the iPhone 4 I think there will be a valid reason for you to exchange it at some point. My iPhone 3G was exchanged 3 times for various reasons.

Do you have reception issues? Is the proximity sensor working properly? Are there colored blotches on your screen? The list is endless, lol

That, and Apple said you can return your iPhone for any reason within 30 days for a full refund recently.

I bought it at Best Buy Mobile, should I bring it there for an exchange or bring it to the Apple store almost an hour away? I'm afraid if I tell them reception is an issue they're going to say nice try, there's a software update on the way and I will walk out confused and crying.
