shut up.. scratched items sucks even though it doesn't ruin the computer experience.. a dent in your ferrari doesn't make it drive any slower.. but it does look worse, and it sucks, pretty sure you'd be pissed too.

Thanks for taking the time out of your day to respectfully reply. I appreciate it.

Ferraris aren't really good for anything anyhow. I think if you buy a Ferarri to pretend that you drive a high performance car (which it isn't), you have bigger issues to worry about than a scratch.

Well dents and scratches still urges people and rightfully so. It's like acne.. It doesn't ruin any function if your face but still don't feel too good does it?

Since you ignored my metaphor and statement, and had nothing further to say.. i assume you got the point.

Just wanted to get some frustration out. Was cleaning down my computer and found a scratch on the lid. Frustrated because I never even took the comp out of my house and was super careful when using it. I know i'll get over it and start using it a comp but the first scratch always sucks :(

And yeah, Im out of the return period now.

Ahh that sucks man, I'm always crazy about things that I get at first. I baby them like crazy, but after a while I start to get careless and stop taking such great care of my stuff. I think it's just me getting lazy. I doubt you're the same, but stuff like this is inevitable you know? We just have to learn how to deal with it. It sucks!

Could be worse, I dented my month old rMPB 15 on the outer lid.

I'll getting a custom skin to put over the lid to cover the dent :)

Ignorance is bliss.

you know what a ferrari is, right?

well for a start its a high performance car lol

I'll give you that -- they're slightly high performance. But the "luxury" ones you see on the street: about the only thing they're faster than is a Prius. They're not really good for anything else.

I rented a Ferarri once. I got up to 100 mph before I knew it and I was only in second gear. It was awesome. And that was an old beater rental Ferarri.

Still trying to get over the fact that you would have returned a perfectly fine MBP within its return window, because YOU scratched it!

Only slightly.

The ones Ferrari's team actually races are basically completely stripped and rebuilt vs. the ones they sell.

The ones they sell are really only faster than street cars.

which ferrari team? are you referring to F1?
please, do tell, what car do you drive? is it faster than a ferrari?

Feel your pain:( the case or a skin will "hide it" from your eyes, so that is what I would do.
