in some cases tooth paste helps alot XD

Plain tooth paste of course, none of the sparkly junk or anything.

Put a little on a napkin or rag and rub gently around where the scratch is and at the very least it will be less noticeable

Yes, btw. I have tried this. not with a touch, but with my psp.

it doesn't work magic or anything but it does help some.

The small scratch on mine is more annoying to me than the large one. I would take it in to Apple and see if they will replace it. They replaced an earlier on of mine when it had a chip in the glass with no questions. It is worth a shot.

NewEgg sells a product that claims to polish out scratches from Touch screens. I have never used the product and am NOT an employee of NewEgg, but saw it the other day when window shopping Touch items. I have a Palm screen that is worn from too much game playing. I might buy it to see if it'll polish out the Palm wear. Anyone tried anything like this?

Beth

Can't remember what it's called, but search and yee shall find!

Here's the link to the product, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834998193....if anyone is familiar with this stuff and has actually used it, a report would be most welcome!!

Yeah, I see how that could drive you crazy (I hate having marks on my iPod too!).

I dropped my iPod and can see little spots where the glass is starting to crack.

Anyways, you could maybe speak to an Apple Genius and ask if you can pay them to replace the screen (I'm almost certain they won't replace it for free).
