I would recommend you get a replacement, I wouldn't like to have them on my phone, especially out of the box, for a phone priced at what it is you shouldn't be receiving a phone with scratches on it out of the box.

Replacement?? LOL, the replacement will have scratches as soon as it is slipped into a pocket or set on a table. You can't get a replacement just because of a few micro scratches.

My brand new iphone 7 Plus jet black has a few micro scratches. I noticed them when I got home from the Apple store. I thought it may have been from the Apple employee setting it down on the wood table(Not a Genius, that's for sure!). However, I bought another of the exact model just to compare, and sure enough, it had micro scratches right out of the box. The scratches are inevitable, and only noticeable in certain angles of bright light. Something we have to live with if we want jet black. It drove me crazy at first, and I was a little obsessive. Now, I'm just enjoying my beautiful black beauty.

Update- I just couldn't live with scratches and defects on a brand new phone I had paid $900 for so I replaced it with the matte black. Sure I absolutely love the jet black but I can't live with a phone that scratches so easily,it would literally drive me nuts!

I can't say I blame you. I don't use my jet black like all other phones I've owned. I carry it to the car in a micro fiber cloth and baby it constantly. It's worth it to me, and the only way to minimize scratches. They seem to appear if you look at the damn thing wrong! Lol.
