This is the situations: I did take photos of my MBP before taking it to the repair centre.

This picture shows that my laptop is completely scratch free:

This are the scratches (below the Apple logo) I found on the lid after the repair:

The scratches are not big at all and visible only if you hold the laptop in a specific way.

Don't know what to do now...

I see no scratchage.

Wow. I am at a loss for words. Really...Wow...

To the OP:

When I went to visit the genius bar at the Apple store, he just flipped my MBP over and put it on a bare table on the lid. He wasn't careful with it at all, and I had to stop him and put down my sleeve as protection. Then he gave me a dirty look.

They just don't care about other peoples' property. They are probably are hired from the GAP.

People like YOU are the problem. Thank you for making a generalization about ALL Genius Bar Employees. It's ok, we do the same with customers like you.

We often joke about how stupid someone must be when they submit their Mac to us for "ram installs" and "hard drive upgrades." What idiots!! Can't they do this themselves, it's so easy. /sarcasm

sorry to say you are pretty much out of luck at this point. even if you could prove that they were not there before the repair, they could say that you made them after you picked it up.

you may just have to use this as a learning experience. NO ONE treats your stuff the way you treat your stuff. that is a fact, people are less careful when it is not theirs (not to say they are completely careless, but less careful)

for the people saying you could take a pic of someone elses machine and pass it off as yours, you're right.

that is why the pics is only one part of the puzzle. the most important parts are the documentation by the repair center of its condition at the time of drop off. GET A COPY OF IT SAYING NO SCRATCHES.....

and the most important is inspection before leaving the repair center.

I promise, if you leave and go home then find something wrong, your chances of getting a resolution goes down exponentially since they can say you did it after you picked it up.
