Screen differences.. WTF!!!!

The old MBP came in 2 different types of screen - glossy or matte, and you could chose whichever suited you. I chose matte because I use my MBP outside a lot. The brand new MB/MBP's have only glossy screens covered with glass, no matte option, which is annoying for people like me, but generally funky.

screen is that bad huh??? it seems I need to check by playing some videos. Any recommended movies that I should watch both on the new MB and the old MBP to compare?

Go to the apple site on whatever machine you're looking at and play the last keynote. Steve Jobs is a freakin' giant floating head on it. I.E., it can't differentiate between darker colors.
