Interesting. I had the same exact issue. I attached a photo of it when it was happening at a lesser extent (it was very intermittent) Apple replaced it no problem once I was able to reproduce it for them. Luckily it had a full on stripe fest in front of the "Genius".

As far as if they have spares. I went to the Apple Store in Grand Centeral in NYC and he said they had 3 of my model available for spares (16GB Vz 6 Plus)

do u think they will have enough iphone 6 pluses at the store in stock for me to replace? cus i want a brand new one if they r gonna replace it instead of the "refurbished" crap

They won't have had time to refurbish them yet. Even if comes in a white box, it'll be new.

Just take it to the Apple Store. Done and done.
 
They won't have had time to refurbish them yet. Even if comes in a white box, it'll be new.

Mine was in a plain white box. I just assumed it was new because I'm sure there aren't refurbs yet. Even if it was, i don't really care. Apple refurbs are basically new. Its not like they're going to give you some scratched up phone that looks like it was bent back straight. :)

Except if it was a issue with a Samsung or other phone than a thread like this would be perfectly acceptable. As much as I like apple products. They don't get a free pass and the mere fact that this is a company that boasts about being perfect and how it's products should be flawless. Apple needs to get its act together

You mentioned you were sick of seeing threads like this. So why should apples shortcomings go unmentioned?

Everyone knows when something like that occurs with an android oem. That the criticism seems to be welcome.

Because there is nothing proactive about it at all.

Not even asking for advice. Just "My phone has this problem!"

Great. Nothing's perfect. Not even Apple. **** happens. Welcome to living.

I went to an Apple Store today try to get it replaced, the "genius" there just had this attitude that i didnt appreciate, he just let me made a reservation for next monday and didnt do or say anything about my issue, really disappointed at apple's Genius right now.

i was in a hurry anyway, just came by an apple store and wanted to get it replaced..

i would have asked for manager and even store credit for my newly bought screen protector...

definitely gonna get it replaced soon.
 
Oh. I made a reservation online and described my problem a bit in the reservation. But still, if you actually got to talk to someone, he should have just replaced the phone. Or if they didn't have any, put one on order for you and let you know when it comes in. I purposely didn't put on my screen protector yet because I knew I was getting the phone replaced. That's how I got around that. I also have a Zagg screen protector which I'm told they replace for just shipping cost if it gets damaged. Though you might be able to switch it to a new phone if you're super duper duper careful.
