I am a big fan of Manto screen protectors. I have it on my X right now, and got one for my wife's 7+. No cutouts, it just goes right over the screen and has it's own bezel.

I thought it was some other brand never mind. I went through 2 sets of icarez they never came out right.

Interesting you say that. I made a video I’ll be uploading soon of my installation. It went horrible but I took the protector off and washed it under warm water and reapplied it. I was not happy with the result at all but decided to just leave it and get back to it later. A few days later and it looked great. Can’t even tell it’s on there and I’m very OCD about this stuff.

Video would be great. I actually did the same by washing it but then I didn’t know how to dry it. Didn’t want to use towel so air drying left some some circles on the adhesive side.

Wow. Just wow. Not sure if it’s OCD, or just laziness that resulted in a longer application time. Lol

Either way happy you finally got it. With the alignment tool, it took me 2min, probably less to be honest.

Hahaha, yup I can be quite a stubborn fool lol.

You should have used the installation tray. I had the same kind of bubbles on your second attempt. It's always a bad idea trying to clean the glass after a failed install. I also noticed that the supplied cloth has fine lint and dust.

I just use a microfiber cloth and rub it with pressure, the bubbles will eventually go away. It may come back a few minutes after, so keep on rubbing till they don't come back.

That was really funny video. I’m surprised that you didn’t use the tray. Tray actually made the install real easy. My problem was just like yours with bubble, when I looked at the small bubbles with eye loupe I can see specks of dust were trapped under glass. Icarez should supply bigger sticky tape just like Apple store used to install Belkin screen protectors to completely remove all the dust prior to install.

Any good protector wont ruin touch sensitivity? My anker one reduces the sensitivity noticebly.

How did you install yours? Bestbuy’s geeksquad?
I do it myself. I'm that particular. However, lately, Zagg has been adding these yellow tabs to do it yourself. It helps. It also helps if you open notes or something to keep your screen turned on brightly so you can see the edges when you go to actually lay it down.

Hi,

It looks like very nice. Could you please to share the purchase link?

Thanks.

Here it is. The cleaning kit that came with the package is pretty good. It picked up all of the lint and dirt. The only difficult part is aligning onto the phone since there’s no tray or wing tip for a guide.
I’m pretty happy with this brand after going through three others, icarez, AM film and Orzly.

Hi,

Thank you so much. One question, it’s edge to edge, isn’t it?

Not really all the way to the edge, you can say it’s case compatible. iCarez has edge to edge version but I didn’t want to go through that brand again.

That one looks just like the iCarez 2.5D from the pictures on Amazon.

The iCarez 2.5D is almost Edge to Edge so it’s Case compatible vs the 3D which is completely Edge to Edge.

That’s interesting because I was thinking the same thing. Glass feels the same even the way bubble forms on the corner. But the cleaning kit that came with it is different but they could’ve come from same factory for the glass.
On second thought I don’t think they are the same brand. The backing has hard white plastic unlike icarez.

I wish someone would share some pictures of the belkin anti glare

My brain exploded from researching screen protectors, I don't like the 3D ones with the added bezels, I got a spigen glas.tr but it's too small, refracts light around the edges

Honestly if I knew spigen's protector was going to be this ******, I would have just kept the factory plastic on, it was doing a better job

I'm going to try the belkin anti glare and probably give up after that, since I returned my last iphone x from premature/excessive screen scratches, I need to get a screen protector, but in reality, I hate them and can't stand them, it's a tough situation :(

I have the Belkin Anti-Glare screen protector because they do not offer the Belkin Glass screen protector anymore as they were recalled because of cracking at the edges and also because they were not sticking to the phones after just a little while.

It was obviously installed with the machine at the Apple Store. It takes a little getting used to compared to the glass because obviously in a lot of light it is not 100% clear like Belkin glass I have on my iPhone 7 Plus, however, it does do its job with the anti-glare.

I really wanted a glass screen protector, however, I am terrible at applying them!!! I love the convenience of the Belkin machine applying the screen protector as you know it will come out perfectly aligned. If for some reason it is not aligned to your liking, Apple will change it right on the spot at no extra charge. So, like I said since the Belkin Glass is not available, I would go with the Belkin Anti Glare, you will get used to it pretty quick and at least your iPhone X screen is protected from getting scratches/micro-scratches. It does not effect screen sensitivity at all or anything like that. Also, it is only $19.99, so that is not terrible.

As soon as Belkin releases the glass screen protectors (I hope they do again) I will be "upgrading" to the glass, I think, haha. I most likely will actually be fine with this and keep it on. I will post some pictures for you later.

PS: The reason I got the this put on my iPhone X was because I had a few tiny micro-scratches, which has never happened on any other iPhone I have ever had and I have had them all. So I do not believe for a minute that this is the strongest/most scratch resistant glass Apple has ever used in their iPhones/iPads/Watches!
