The last two model years have screens that don’t curve around the edge. Makes it much easier to avoid bubbles. They key to avoid dust is to apply it ASAP when removing the included paper protector or try your luck in a humid environment like others have suggested.

+1. Have one on my 12 Pro right now. Just peel the back off and place the phone in the frame. Easiest install I've ever done. Will be buying for my 13 Pro as soon as they release the notchless version.

I’ve heard the Apple Store has a device that applies them perfectly. Just take it there.
(But really don’t put one on at all 😎)
I apply my own,not bothered if it’s slightly wonky. In the past though I have used the mobile phone shops that are everywhere and always been fitted perfectly
Probably a stretch of a question but are Apple stores putting on protectors in-house nowadays? Tried to get one installed last year but with Covid on the rise they wouldn't do it.

Before using the installation kit, which I highly recommend (they won't scratch your phone), I used a combination of steam from the shower, compressed air, and scotch tape to remove dust.

That's my plan, going to leave my phone un-opened and ask to get their Belkin protector applied.

I use the hinge method, always works for me. I taught myself to apply them and now have to do my family members’ 😋
will you get your own case separately, the screen protector is £30 right, I think I can get one only for like £10-15 but I plan to have this phone for 2-3 years so want it to be perfect and will be v fustrated if I mess it up myself

I been using the cheapest Amazon tempted glass screen protectors for years! At $3 for 3, it pretty sweet deal for me since I install the protector just after taken off the iPhone screen wrap. No alcohol and linen dry routine. Takes me a good 4-6 seconds. 2 seconds to align and 2-4 seconds to smooth out the bubbles.
I going to buy the new technology of rounded edges and edge to edge technology this time around since this type of screen protector has gone down in price from $49 to now $6 for 3 and positioning frame is thrown in too! I might try sapphire glass if I can find it cheap like under $10. I always see in the past $79-$90 for one screen protector totally insane!

Yeah I bought a case for my new phone, will bring it along. Good question, I'm not sure if they will put on a screen protector bought from somewhere else. I like their Belkin one though, never had an issue with them.
I never used them on my phones. However I have installed for others and the trick is to steam up the bathroom and then apply. Keeps the dust from being in the air. Perfect apply every time!

I am on the annual upgrade so by the time anything shows up on the screen, its time for a new phone anyway lol
