Can you post a few pictures if you have time and you don't mind?

Thanks

Yes, I would love it if pics could be posted. I am glad it's less tacky, but they say the orange peel effect is a lot less than the regular Shields, is that true?

Ditto. PS Crystal feels better than bare as it feels the same but is protected.

Couple of questions on the PS Crystal.

1. Does the glass like feel wear off over time?
2. Do they have a replacement policy if the protector is ever damaged or scratched like Zagg does?
3. I looked, but I can't find any docs on their site about what type of scratches the PS material can absorb. Is it as robust as the Zagg or similar protectors?
4. Does the protection decrease over time and need to be replaced or is it constant protection throughout its lifespan?

What is the point of y'all getting a screen cover? To protect from scratches, finger prints, both? I have been reading a lot of threads over screen covers. I just want something to help with finger prints, but going to wait until I see a discount.

So has anyone here tested these screen protectors with a Stylus? I'm thinking about trying out the Cosmonaut but want a screen protector that will work best with styluses (styli?).

Anyone can speak from experience? Some have said their protector feels "glass-like", but does it act the same with a stylus?

Hey all, been shopping around for a screen protector while I wait for my new [and first!] iPad. One of the primary uses of this thing will be note-taking with an Adonit Jot. I read a few reviews for the Jot that mentioned light scratches on the screen and also an incompatibility with certain "grippy" protectors. I've tested mine on a variety of devices and it does not glide over my phone [outfitted with a BestSkinsEver protector].

So what I'm asking is - can anyone provide some first-hand experience regarding the "feel" of a few screen protectors? Particularly smooth, non-grippy ones. I'm looking at eventually getting the PowerSupport, but am hesitant to put that much money down without the confidence that it will mesh well with my Jot. Thanks!

I have the PS Crystal Clear on iPhone 4S which should be similar what you are getting for iPad. Have a friend of mine who has the SGP GLAS:t glass-type protector on his Samsung Galaxy Note.

For the feel, it feels the same when you slide it. Of course the scratch resistance is not the same. (3-4H vs 6-7H) but you can lift the regular film protector partially to pick up a speck of dust during install whereas you can't do it on the GLAS:t.

So wait, is the hardness of these film screen protectors 3-4H? What is the hardness of the iPad's screen? It seems like it would be in that range to me which makes the screen protector pretty pointless.

If you read the packaging of some brand name screen protector, it will say 3-4H scratch resistance. Some brands simply don't specify that but I doubt if there is any silicone-based/static cling type screen protector that can be as hard as 8-9H.

One of the reasons of installing the screen protector is to have a sacrificial layer so in case you really have something that scratch the screen badly, you don't need to replace your glass screen which costs more $$$.

On the other hand, without the screen protector, you will definitely see some tiny micro scratches under certain light with your glass during regular use.

Come on people! I GOT THE ANSWER

Has anyone here tried BodyGuardz? It doesnt feel like putting an orange on your phone unlike other previous mentioned protectors (zagg) however they have a program that you get lifetime replacements AND 20 percent off on the new purchases from then on out. Literally the best thing I have ever put on my screen.

I agree, Bodyguardz is the best I have tried so far. It definitely changes the feel of the screen though, but I actually like the way it feels. The clarity is awesome too.

PS is the best I have tried. My SGP almost gets too squeaky when it's totally clean. PS glides smoothly.
