Just fyi, the most recent screen protectors I've purchased have been from Monoprice - they run about $1 a piece or less, come with screen cleaning cloths and adhesive strips to catch dust before applying.
SGP. Power Support. Plenty of others as well, I'm sure.Does anyone know of a decent screen protector (iPad 2) that doesn't come pre-packaged with it's own supply of dust and fibres?
More importantly, what you get is directly related to the effort put into it. Price doesn't guarantee quality or even a suitable match for your needs/wants.You get what you pay for.
It's worth it to me to use screen protectors that not only offer protection but offer the clarity and texture that I prefer. Worth is always highly subjective though. Whether it's worth it to you or not is an entirely different matter.I don't understand all these "you get what you pay for" mindset come from. I'm quite confident that a piece of plastic film doesn't cost $30 to make. Yes the bigger brands have better quality, but are you sure it's worth 95% more?
I use a piece of scotch tape to peel the film from a corner, then another piece of tape looped sticky side out to grab pieces of dust that get caught between the film and screen. Seems to work pretty well.

Install in the bathroom... Bathroom? Yes, run the shower on hot for a while, so steam builds up. It knocks any dust in the air down and makes a clean install much easier. My apartment is a dust magnet (horrible filters, thanks landlords!), but I get good results with the bathroom method.
Give it a shot.![]()
