If you're not experienced putting them on, order a few just to be safe. I'm at the point where i've gotten real good installing screen protectors.

Also depending on where you live their shipping is on the high side like $5-6. So order enough to pay for the shipping. They are a reputable company, i've bought from them many times. They have no hassle return policy with no restocking fee and they sell tons of electronic stuff. :)

I don't use one because
- to me retina is subtle and I like to see the screen bare
- I'm not on the deck of the deadliest catch or in the amazon so I don't need "peace of mind"
- don't care about privacy or anti-glare
- don't jam my pad in my pocket against my keys like I do my phone

No film for me.....

They are a must especially after you notice a scratch.

Somehow my ipad 3 got a scratch when I was not using a screen protector.

I'd rather spend the money on a clear and be safe than sorry. If glare is an issue with you then at least get something cheap until you get your real choice.

Better be safe than sorry.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which I was always careful and one day I noticed a scratch I put on the glass. I don't know how I did it but it was me because it wasn't there when I first got it, so I decided to put a screen protector on the glass. That's why I started using screen protectors on all my Tablets including my iPad's and not take the chance.

Hrm.

If you're worried about the screen protector affecting the device's visibility or sensitivity, then I have a perfect alternative for you.

Check out ArmorSuit on Amazon. I've been using it for a couple months now, and it's been extremely solid. If you want, you can look on youtube for their videos as well.

Good luck!
