Screen Protectors for 8/8 Plus?

Was surprised that Spigen had their GLAStR on Amazon - 2 for 7.99.

Had it here in time for my 8+ and seems good enough to me.

Nothing beats the stress free install of the Belkin at the Apple store - but to save $35ish bucks, this went on just fine. And I’ve got a spare.

I typically go with the Apple installed belkin glass. Apple handles all issues, no muss no fuss

I have always purchased anti glare plastic films and installed myself. This time around I got the Belkin glass and like you, got it installed at apple. The process was pretty cool and they did it perfectly! No more futzing around with a hot shower in the background only to find the film to be decentered or a bubble under the screen.

I picked up some Belkin 7 Plus ones from Marshalls for $6 on the way back from the Apple Store — usually get cheapie glass ones from Amazon and have been pleased enough with the quality.

The Zagg I used doesn’t fit the whole screen. Any others that do that are clear?

Nope. The only ones you can get that I know of that cover the whole screen are the edge to edge.. they normally are either black or white that you can get to match the front of your phone

I don’t think many of the glass ones cover edge to edge because when you put a case on as well it usually makes them lift

Does anyone know if the Zagg InvisibleShield Glass+ Luxe for the 7 Plus will work with the 8 Plus? I liked mine but I wonder if the sensor arrangement on the 8 Plus is any different.

I typically use Anker. Its cheap, good quality and a good replacement warranty. New ones have a little bit of a halo effect on the 8Plus, but Anker usually quickly resolves that.

Seems to fit fine. Here is mine:

Do your screen sensors (proximity, ambient light, True Tone) still work like normal? I just wonder if True Tone forced anything to be pushed around, since I know the screen protector has specific cutouts for sensors.

They appear to be but how do I test to be sure?

Proximity should be working if the screen turns off when you put the phone to your face during a phone call. I think the way to test True Tone would be to toggle it off and on and see if the color temperature of the screen changes.

Just tested both and they worked fine.
