Against my better judgment I ordered one on Saturday since their site is still functioning and is updated to reflect protectors for both the 8 and the X.

Their site said it would ship in 1-2 business days, Tuesday came and went with no word. Yesterday I sent them a message on their site asking when I could expect a shipping notification, still no response.

Ordered the Peel one I linked above this morning and it already shipped. Will tell Cupert to cancel the order, then when they don't respond, I'll just rescind the charge with my credit union I guess and get my 50 bucks back either way.

Amazing how they could have such a great product and completely ****ing blow it like they did.
I also ordered from Peel re: your post. I can’t wait to try it out.... just hoping that it will be a flawless fit w/8+. Thanks for the nod.

anyone in the UK recommend a decent one that doesn't have halo?

Grabbed some off Amazon and they're all in the bin due to the halo effect.

Hi,

Just got my 8+ and couldn't decide whether or not to get the screen protectors they offered at the Apple Store, has anyone else got one of them? Would you recommend them or not? I generally don't like the screen protectors I've usually seen, I dislike the thick feel of them but maybe these ones are different?

Thanks

Yeah I saw that just now. Wonder why it show just the Samsung listing ? Guess I have to stop speed reading. Oh well

I had the same issue. I use the invisible shield HD glass. It's amazing. Feels 99.999999% like the iphone screen itself.

I would not bother with screen protectors offered at Apple store, since I believe they are way overpriced for what they offer. If you feel that you need screen protector check out Amazon.

I had that screen protector on my 7+ and it served me well. It will fit 8+ as well.

I don't have one on mine anymore nor purchase the expensive ones. i used to when i had the 3GS & iP4. i think that was the last time i paid anywhere over $20 for one protector. purchased the glass ones for my mom and wife's iPhone 6 sometime early last year off of amazon for a 5 pack for $9 prime. they work well for them, no complaints.

I turned out to be a huge fan of the Thanotech E2E glass, once I got it installed. It’s worth the trouble. Works great with a Rhinotech Playproof and the Thanotech bumper. The bumper looks better, but if it’s going to get beat up it goes in the Playproof.

I like the full coverage ones myself and ordered the Manto screen protector based on input from 7/7+ thread and Amazon reviews.

Installed it as soon as I unboxed it and was able to get a perfect install and it looks great.

Loved the one on my 7+ but I must have gotten a bad one on my 8+. Had a clean post shower install but those bubbles at top and bottom, so odd...

Anyone had any issues with the Spigen Glas.tr slim?

I’ve had two packs of the Anker Karapax that had halo now just applied the second out of a pack of single defence Anker ones with the same issue. They are sending out a replacement but have the feeling the same will occur. Strange as the first iPhone 8 I had they applied perfectly (had to return it due to a defect).

Waiting on the inbound Rhinoshield tempered glass to see if it knocks off my favorite Thanotech, but at 0.55mm it’s kind of a beast...

I picked up these on amazon

aiMaKE 2Pack Premium Tempered Glass Screen Protector 4.7 inches for iPhone 6S | iPhone 6 Screen Protector | White - Transparent (Ultra Clear edge to edge Full Front Screen Cover) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01E161NTK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_06Z4zbC7ND76W

Got them through vipon for £3. They’re perfect. I’m amazed by them.

hmmmm thats look like its only fro anti prints n sctractes? no real impact protection
Yes this only protects from scratches. Not from impact. I bought one but didn't apply it on yet as I am waiting on someone to post on youtube about it. Right now it's just sitting in the drawer. I did read the instructions and stated that after applying, let it sit 15 minutes then wipe it off. Then it can take 48 hours to optimize it?

I am currently using the Maxboost tempered glass protector since I’ve used it a few times on both my sister’s and my iPhone 6S. It fits fine on the 8 but I get a slight halo effect around the edge sadly. It’s not as bad as what i seen from other people. But maybe my old iPhone 6S did have some halo but I just couldn’t see it because I had a silver iPhone and the white bezel hid it better. Anyone had better luck with other brands? I don’t care about edge to edge since I use cases.
