If I had one (might soon) I wouldn't put it in a case. It's plastic, not that polished scratch magnet like the iPod Touch or classics, let it breath and be happy! Good Luck!
Just get a leather slide case for when you are not using it, that'll keep it happy in your pocket. I really don't get the permanent cases, what is the point? It's like people who cover their furniture in plastic...

Hey its your phone - do with it what you want.
There are many reasons why people put a case on their phone. Most of which is the protection. I have a beautiful vaja case. While its a bit pricey, its great looking while offering good protection from a fall or from scratches (front or back) from day to day usage.
btw, if you plan on selling your phone in the future, you will get get $$ if the condition isn't pristine.
Personally I love the look that the vaja provides and the peace of mind.
I've been using iPod socks since I've had my phone and this week I decided not to. My phone has been completely naked for about a week.
You should get a nice slim fit leather case (like Sena or something). That way, phone is protected (mostly) when you're not using it, but you can use it naked, the best feeling in the world!!!!
I just ditched my case last night too. I am getting a leather slider pocket like the one that comes with the curve. Any suggestions? I'm headed to the accessories forum!
