True I guess, I didn't drop my iPhone 2G in the year and a half that I had it though. Well, I did, but not from any great distance.
naked from day one (iPhone not me lol) and no scratches or whatever.
Way i figure is that front is glass and is hard to scratch if almost impossible and back is pretty solid but no biggie if its a little scratched. My pockets in all my clothes as well as many other peoples is made from soft materials and not rocks, so as long as you dont keept change, keys or whatever in your pocket with phone your fine. Also whats the point of a sock when you have empty pockets...never understood that?

I'm good at catching falling things in midair. I've done it many times. But both my 2g and 3g feel three times each. Was glad I had a Casemate Signature protecting them. Saved each time with nary a scratch.
The ifrogz luxe is good and also have a couple of cozip cases. They are both slim fit and provide protection. Like the slim fit designs and protection over the bulk of the leather casemate signature.
If the color doesn't chip off the ifrogz, it does a nice job. The cozip material is perhaps even a bit softer than the ifrogz.
Can't imagine going naked with the slippery feel, it would seem likely that a drop over a year would occur with bad results.

If you have applied the Total BSE on your phone, it is NOT naked. That is still a case, a very thin case, but none the less a case.
