Screw it! I took the case off.

I would just suggest getting a BSE simple back if you're worried so much about the back.
 
Well I don't like getting my oily skin all over my phone when I'm using it, and come on, a few months from now, will you be better off because your phone didn't have a case on it? Just get a good case.

Personally I love my phone with Blue and Black, or Green and Black, this case is great, it actually makes people want to know what the case is because of the unique color scheme, I highly recommend the iFrogz Luxe, I think Amazon still has them for $12.

I use Blue and Black and I personally love it, it makes me want to use the phone more and makes me feel more productive, lol.
 
I wasted well over $100 on multiple cases for my 1st Gen iPhone, and wound up going naked (w/ a PS Anti-Glare screen protector) after the first 6 weeks... Got my 3G S 2 weeks ago, and have already spent $$ on cases (got the PS Air Jacket), ordered a Griffin Reveal (direct from them, probably never get it since they're backordered for some reason while Apple stores have them) & just last night applied a simple back from BSE... I have already ditched the air jacket, and am loving my 3G S w/ the BSE simple back (also use a PS crystal for the screen). I'd suggest ponying-up the $8 (w/ shipping) for the BSE simple back if all you want is scratch protection for the back PLUS easy installation & no fugly corners...

i was about to go naked with my phone, but then somebody mentioned the BSE. so i bought one. it is AMAZING, and MUCH MUCH cheaper than IS.

I actually decided to go naked w/ my 3GS. I applied the Total BSE to it.

I actually dropped it the other day on concrete...darn-it, but it didn't scratch or dent anything up.

Yep. And even if I dropping it didn't break it if it got scratched I'd be annoyed at myself everytime I looked at it. I plan on having this thing for years yet :)

Haha. The difference is that the tape maintains the phone's high resale value!

And it never goes crazy .......
 
I've tried BSE, IS and Bodyguardz on my iPhones. My favorite is the IS. Yes it may be pricey initially but I've received 2 replacements (lifetime warranty) which comes to the same as paying for 3 separate BSE orders. In the long run, IS will be cheaper than BSE.
 
BAD BAD idea ..because for one when i had the 3G it slipped out of my hands and droped on our hardwood floor and busted my screen..

then a few days after i bought my 3G S it fell out of my lap in my car and LUCKLY i had a case on because i am Sure the back would have been all messed up if the case would not have been. and when next years iphone comes around and my iphone is perfect and not scrached up i will get more money for it..

so yes it does look sexier BUT is it really worth it if you accidentally drop your iphone?

i do take the case off when i go somewhere nice to show it off but other than that its always in a case with a screen protector
