So, I stepped "down" from a 7 to my daughters 5s in June. Her 5s is still in great shape for being a 3 year old phone and being able to put my phone in my front pocket is a huge deal for me. The few things I missed were screen real estate for web browsing (when I'm bored waiting somewhere), camera quality, and Apple Pay. I would love for Apple to make an SE without the bezels and with all the latest and greatest stuff. The size is perfect for me.

SE or 8?

After thinking a lot about that, I think I will go in an Apple Store this week and see what I prefer, but for now I think I will get a 8. Why?
For some simple reasons. First of all, I would like a small size like my iPod Touch, but since I already tried to hold the SE one time, I didn't really like the extra height it has compared to my iPod Touch and I think the circular buttons are just annoying and not positioned at the same position as my iPod Touch (on SE they are closer to bottom because of the quiet mode switcher).
Secondly, I'm someone who will buy a phone and keep it for 5 years or so... I think that buying a SE will be a step in the wrong direction since it will be out-of-date sooner. Also, I love photography and I think that even if I have a camera, the 8 camera will be a great plus for on-the-go photography.
Finally, I'm very not sure about the release of a SE 2. Not a lot of rumors out there...
