it better. Im sick of my browsers constantly crashing on me

How do you know it's the physical amount of RAM causing the browser to crash? Even if the logs say low memory error.... That could mean that the safari app is using the memory totally ineffeciently.

Just saying. They may put more RAM in but that may just be a band aid.

Yes, I'll rebuy from Amazon. My Prime account works everywhere. The only reason I bought from iTunes in the first place was my husband traveled overseas and didn't have good bandwidth so I bought him some movies for his iPad. iTunes worked well. But I caved and bought some cheap seasons of some Brit murder mysteries I love. Maybe a couple hundred dollars in all. But he's retired now so....

(Btw, nobody does murder mysteries like the Brits )

Midsomer Murders?

it can't hurt.

16GB is the perfect size for the vast majority of consumers. It's completely unrealistic and unreasonable to expect Apple to start at a higher storage capacity that meets your needs, when most people are more than happy with what currently exists.

The great thing about Apple though is they are willing to sell you higher capacity devices. Most Android OEMs give you 16GB and then tell you to buy a memory stick if you want more - a truly vile consumer experience.

I would hope and expect Apple to maintain the current storage bands and protect margins. There's absolutely no reason to do anything different.

It's sad to see someone like you, completely brainwashed by the system.

2GB?! That's it?

Why not introduce 4GB?

Why not 8GB?

Apple, innovation requires an excessive volume of DRAM, so please increase the RAM value significantly. My 16GB in my MacBook Pro often feels too small. My iPad aches for a significant RAM increase.

In fact, if you investigate the mobile RAM modules thar can be produced, 32GB is a feasible option! Think about that!

If I can have 45 tabs open in Sadari, edit images in PhotoShop Touch, edit/create a 3D model in AutoDesk software, play through a 3D video game, edit and splice 24-bit Lossless Audio Files, send/receive iMessages, and download App updates ALL AT ONCE via Multitasking with virtually no loading screens in between ((and more accurate image captures in my cache), then I feel my iPad was truly not complaint worthy!

Make it happen Apple!
Please!
Blow the competition out if the water with outrageous specifications!

16Gb does not feel enough on a macbook pro because the OS is crap. Install win 8.1 and fixed. The only thing which gets worse is battery life.

It HAS to go to 2 GB...being unable to switch between multiple apps (especially anything in iWork) rapidly, or having Messages freeze up while it repopulates the message list drives me nuts. 1GB on my current Air is biggest complaint of any Apple product I've ever owned.

Fair enough, but once it goes 2GB, then people will want 3GB, 4GB... etc. I think people should be demanding that developers (including Apple) find ways to really optimize their apps to not require such beefy memory requirements, at least the basic apps, such as messaging. It is entirely possible through creative engineering (yes, I'm a software engineer that does this every day, albeit not on iOS).

You clearly are not in touch with reality when it comes to software development. Give developers tons of specs (RAM, etc.) and they get lazy and stop optimizing. It's a fact. So your 16GB iPad will then need 32GB and so on.

Send feedback to your favourite app developers and ask THEM to make their apps work better on the current hardware.
