hey I just got a new samsung lcd tv.
It is pretty good as a secondary display
But is it possible to watch hulu using safari
on the secondary display full screen. (hulu)
And use my MacBook Pro to do other things
at the same time?
This is giving me trouble.
Also anybody have any luck using pip with a samsung lcd tv?

** sorry if this is a repost I searched but couldnt find anything.

First, make sure you are out of mirror mode. Then, if you haven't already, try dragging the Hulu window to the TV before clicking full screen.

I believe the OP is having trouble with flash exiting full screen once you try and use another program on the second screen.

IDANNY, do you have VMWare or anything like that? You could run another OS full screen with hulu?

I see. I just ran the player and it does drop out of full screen mode whenever it's not in the foreground. I think the idea of running it in a VM should work, though, since it wouldn't see any changes in the Mac OS.

Thank you, I just sent my macbook pro in for repair ill try it out in vmware when it comes back.
Does anyone know of a different solution?
Something that i dont have to use windows with.:apple:

Yes it works if I use another os. But then it slows down the computer considerably does anyone know a different way to do this.
I was hoping there was a little app. But guess its not that simple.
Thanks for the replies so far. Please if anyone knows anything it would be greatly appreciated.

I have started using the Hulu Desktop. It works great for me. i can use the Apple Remote and can drag the Hulu Desktop window to the TV. :)

do you still have the status and bookmarks bar?
I recently been wanting to do this with itunes.
I just do the same drag thing but then I get the top bar there.

I can confirm that works with Hulu desktop (which is a quite nice interface anyways). It appears the problem is with Webkit since I had FF doing it earlier today (on a much more powerful MBP 9600) but Camino and Safari crashed (my first choices)

fulscreen hulu on second display

yo put your dock on the second display. Works fine then..
know how to do it? Drack the menu bar in display prefs to the second display..
