Sector 5 from Element Case order thread.

I ordered a black one but the funny thing is on the order page it said it was a FE and black and I thought FE only came in graphite

So I don't know if they just didn't change the wording or if it was actually a first edition
I'm thinking that they may have just forgotten to take FE off of the order slip but maybe they consider all of these first edition. I don't think it has the laser engraving though.
Your Sector 5 will ship the 26st. That means they will send the package on that exact date - or later depending on any delay - then it will take a few days or weeks for the package to arrive at your doorstep.
Calm down for heaven sake. Calm down. It will come.
DO NOT BUY ELEMENT Case
Just got the Sector 5. It's really nice, but NOT practical at all. I have a 30-pin to lightning adapter but the case is too narrow to fit in.
I see there'll be lots of potential problems for other accessories like speaker dock.
The protecting suede like material inside is not properly placed. It's protruding out and lint stick to it easily.
I really regret buying it. Wanted to return but they won't return the full amount.
It's a shame to be paying so much for a nice looking white elephant.
Element Case actually removed my posting in their Facebook. They will eliminate any negative posting to censor.

Regarding the suede , you need to place it on before you install the case itself..
The case can't please everyone . Same goes with the iPhone 5. Some just hate it.
Give it away to a friend or maybe directly to us??:-D
I'm not talking about the suede backplate. There's some sort of suede like material for shock absorption around the edge of the interior.
I'm trying to get the full amount I pay including shipping. I will try to dispute with my credit card as I received a faulty product.
You won't get the money back. Forget it. It sounds like you are trying to blame element here for something strange. You bought it end of story.
I agree, you bought it. Why should they lose money just because the case isn't for you - you knew what would fit and what wouldn't fit with it before you ordered it. And lint sticking to it? That sounds like an annoyance and not a defect. Very few people are unhappy with the S5.
People like you are the problem we face today. I mean really, ElementCase should only be responsible to refund you the price you paid on the case (excluding the restocking fee if that is incurred), shipping is on you, eat it and move along.
Now if they wouldn't even refund you the price of the case - restock fee, then yeah, you have a legit complaint.
Just for note too, if you checked this thread before and their Facebook / Twitter pages, you would know the adapter didn't work, as such, it would be safe to assume most if not all speaker docks wouldn't work. Research is key when purchasing any product.
Unfortunately, these info doesn't exist on the 1 day of pre-ordering.
They state shipping will be made 1st Nov. Fine. At least they let us know before hand. But they should also include those info where the case will not be compatible with speakers dock and adapters. Even today, there's no where in their site indicating that even when they know the problem.
They just want to milk as much as possible of suckers. I really hate company like that.
Worst part, they censored their postings on their Facebook.
But either way, I got my full money back already.
For of you affected but the case, please call ur credit card and report faulty products. Your credit card company should be able to refund you the full amount including shipping.
It is in no way a faulty product, you didn't do your research. Seriously, this is exactly what is wrong with the world, people feel entitled.

I agree, I have a BOSE Bluetooth speaker dock - I bought it to basically future proof it. I knew one day that my iPhone, iPod, or whatever phone I end up with would not fit.
I mean come on people, even if I had accessories that wouldn't work with the S5 it's an awesome enough case I would buy a new power adapter, speaker dock or whatever didn't work with it. If you can drop 140 bucks on a case buying a new accessory shouldn't be an issue.

Maybe some others can speak directly for the Sector but I have been an Element Case user for about 2 years now and have NEVER had any reception problems. The issues some supposedly had with signal dropping have been fixed/alleviated with the rubbery material on the inside of the case. If you are in an area that goes in and out of one bar, you might notice a slight difference in how well it connects but for anyone with decent service you won't notice anything.
You have 4 posts on this forum and your accent/typing style is almost identical to the few people defending the draco 5 cases, coincidence? Doubtful.

Oh look who showed up you just proved my point. Because A element isn't making false claims like draco is and B there are scientific facts to why elements case doesn't cause interference and Dracos does and I actually bought Dracos case and had to return it because of the problems they claimed weren't there, which was partly my fault for not researching enough but I took their word for it when they claimed no signal interference and paid the price which I find is extremely unethical and completely a scam. I don't even own elements case yet and if it turns out to cause signal problems ill say the same thing about them also. What happens when Dracos case causes signal degradation to the point were somebody can't make a 911 call when they need to? It won't be so funny then will it.
