Shipped today, estimated delivery is 24th.... Wow.

Are you in northcarolina? I am and it took that long last time i ordered my vapor pro....maybe 1 day less than what they said, Ill always pay the extra in the future for next day as I'm really impatient lol

The aluminum home button does stick out above the glass by itself. With the GLAS.tr it is almost level with the glass actually a little indented.

Woot. Got tracking today number today. In retrospect I should've gone with the two day shipping then it would probably have arrived the same day as my iPhone 5. Oh well. Excited none the less. Ordered silver and going to put it on a white iPhone 5. If someone beats me to getting there's with this set up please post pictures

Has everyone seen the new rash guards. They are very serious about the potential problems with anodized aluminum.

I think its more of supplying what people are buying. They see what people are doing with the cases and want a share of the wrap market. I tried installing the rash guards and after spending 5 mins on one side, I gave up and installed it without them and the phone looks fine.

I just got my breaburn acoustic dock and seeing all 3(phone, sector 5, and the dock) it looks badass.

Keeping mine without the rash guards

I got one of my tracking numbers. Its for the silver also but no black yet. I have a black and white iphone so I'll see how it looks on both.

Same. Was thinking of the FE at first but then if you compare the pictures on the site it's in no possible way the same color irl. It's more grey.

Which aluminum? On the sides? I thought there's rash guards included in the sector5 package?

They have been including the rash guards in clear. Element Case is watching these threads. Hell, it looks to me as if they even started this very thread. Though, you'd never get them to admit it. They have seen people posting up pics of their phone and they want a piece of that pie. Black and silver for now, with more colors to follow. Why wouldn't they want some of that action? I bet it costs only a few cents to make these guards and everyone is selling them for $10-12.

These rash guards are included. As I see it they will as of next week include two sets, silver and black. These are only meant to be used with these cases because they do not fit at the ends like most skins and, most important, they cover the beveled part of the phone perimeter. Theses would look bad not covered, they don't go around the corners that well since they cover the bevel or chamfer. I really think Element is really concerned about scuffs, that people would try to hold them responsible for, especially with the black phone. I don't think they are going for the skin market.

Words can not describe how badly I want this case (although I'm not super keen on their backplates). If only I could sneak one past my wife, unfortunately she has already seen the price

Why would you need to sneak it past your wife? You have money of your own I assume. IF it won't affect your families bottom line why not make the purchase? I can understand a new motor cycle or jet ski but an iPhone case?

Absolutly they are watching. Most cases makers are, and there are a number of shills around too. Not that I think that's a bad thing personally. I spoke to CS at one firm last year and they knew exactly the thread(s) I was referring too.

Of all the case makers out there, the one I most hope is reading is Lifeproof. Because they seriously need to start listening to their existing and potential customers ;)

Yeah I'm in nc. I thought it said 3-5 days on element cases website, perhaps the holiday is what's delaying it.

I don't mind them being on the forums. Some are very open about representing their company like BodyGuardz. Sadly, though, most are incognito and posing as just another random forum member.

I think it's great that they come here to seek input on their product. After all, without us, there is no them.

Replica available now: Replica sector 5 :p

Booo!!! Bet it kills the signals like crazy and the finish on it looks horrible. I know element cases are expensive but here is my view on it:

If you can't afford a real one, buy a nicer genuine case. Bet that thing is very cheaply made, when I see people with fake stuff, it makes me laugh - because they are sporting it like its sooo cool but its just a cheap knock off. Wish element would find these guys and sue the pants off them. Also, by buying fake element cases, you are supporting overseas jobs rather than US jobs - if everyone bough knockoff element cases eventually there wouldn't be any since these guys arent even smart enough to come up with their own case designs.

What a bunch of idiots, they can spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on material, workers, CNC machines but they can't make a nice original design???

They could probably give element a good run for their money if they came out with their own cases.

I won't be nor will I ever buy a knock off anything! If you can't afford the real thing don't try to front like you can and that's exactly what your doing by sporting these fakes!

I know alot of people will disagree but that's my opinion :)

And then people are like "oh it doesn't fit right" or "it makes the signal worse" they want to complain about the fake they just bought so they could save a few dollars

I am aware where apple products are made, but with that you don't have a choice. You do have a choice with element cases to support the US workforce (which I think is important) or support overseas labor (which I avoid unless I do not have a choice)

I agree! They didn't even post a pick of the top of the case... and the bottom is not even the same... horrible knock off.

At least you appreciate the real deal :))). I'd be willing to bet the craftsmanship of the fake is pretty sorry, the real one I have feel soooo awesome! The fake Is either probably way heavier or way cheap feeling (too light)

And people shouldn't be allowed to post about the fake cases on this thread, this is after all the Sector 5 order thread.
