Looks like you have the SLR working. Much better shots. Is it me or are the pictures upside down. Looks good that way.

Lol, thx - nah man I took those with my wife's iPhone 4S! There upside down bc the iPhone does that sometimes it looks like I used a SLR bc I'm pretty good at photography :)

Ok, I'm not arguing anymore either but...

The fakes are NOT the same! That's the difference! They make look the same but these bumpers are engineered and produced with alot of precision. One millimeter or less off can be the difference between 5 bars and 4.8 bars. Also just because they look the same doesn't mean they are made of the same materials, element cases are made from aircraft grade aluminum which is pretty pricey - the fake could be made of a cheaper aluminum or something else totally! Also the polymer inserts on the true cases are probably just made of plastic on the fakes - my point is that no matter how great and similar you want your fake case to be, it's not a genuine product so there will always be something different about it that you will never get unless you by the real thing I don't care how you cut it.

They would never be 1mm off because they are using the same moulds as the real cases. All these Chinese companies need to do is get their hands on a real one and they are away as they would make the mold from the real case. It's sad but it happens.

The only difference may be the quality of the aluminium but everything else is exactly the same. You'd be surprised how accurate the fake cases are.

Actually the only other difference are people's morals whether to spend $20 or $150 on a case that looks and feels exactly the same as the real one.

It cracks me up when you guys talk about the quality of aluminium used in a phone case. It's not a interplanetary spaceship people, its function is almost purely aesthetic and it'll never be subject to any meaningful mechanical loading. The term 'aircraft grade' is purely marketing in this application.

And don't get me started on 'polymer' vs 'plastic'!

Made from t6061 aluminum, look it up if you don't believe in the applications it is used for. Just saying the real uses that and who knows what they are using for the fakes, it's funny everyone here is cool talking about their sector 5 case and you get these guys who have to voice their opinion and post about how "close" the fakes are. Enjoy your "almost the same" sector 5 :)

I'm not saying it's a useless grade, I'm just saying it's overkill for a phone case. I highly doubt you'll be subjecting you phone to >100MPa forces!

I will enjoy my 'almost the same' case, and you're welcome to EDX them both and brag about your 1% Mg chemistry!

I own an Element real sector 5 I'm not posting in this forum defending the vapor pro am I? Do you see anywhere in this forum were I defended or even posted off topic? The quality of the fake ones doesn't come close to the real ones, your phone is loose and it wobbles around in the fakes, the build quality isn't the same end of story

You're seriously just trolling this forum now get a life

Sorry not mold but dimension wise. the point is that they get the exact measurements from the real cases.

I'm not defending it by any means, just stating that people have misconceptions about the fake cases. There is no difference.
