I use to work at UPS in college and would always hear complaints from our vendors that we'd pick up from. It's all about processing time.
if you really think about shipping...it doesn't matter if you pay for overnight shipping..your shipment is always based on when your order is actually processed, not received...let's say you're #1035 in the shipping queue...and Element is only on #775...just because you pay for next day service, doesn't mean your order jumps ahead in the queue...it may take additional days to get to your order. Once processed and a label is on it, then and only then, your order is on it's way...but even then, you have take into account when the mail courier picks up and when THEY process the order. Once it's in the courier's possession, it's up to THEM, not Element or anyone else, to deliver the package on time based on the service rendered.
I've ordered so many times online...there's very little the company can do once it's in the hands of the courier...they can only providing tracking..after that you have to question the courier...same thing goes for overseas shipping from Ebay goods (which I've also done)..you can't fault the seller if he shipped it and it gets lost by the courier.
just my two cents on shipping...what it comes down to with shipping services...you're not cutting off much time in processing...not worth spending extra..sit back and be patient is what I do.
