the refresh doesn't appear to be that much of a big deal to me....not saying it won't be but as of now I have no thoughts of selling...(i did move one when I got an MBA but will not part with my 3G with unlimited data.)

Heya!

So, with the announcement of March 2nd for the iPad event, should I go ahead and list my 32GB Wi-Fi iPad on eBay *NOW* or wait until I hear something about it first? I typically am an early adopter of Apple items, so I will be getting it... I'm just wondering when to put it up for auction/sale.

Thanks for the replies to everyone! The poll showed I should sell now, and that's what I'm doing. I have a 32GB wi-fi iPad in mint condition with the original packaging/accessories. It's on eBay for $515(+$15 shipping) as a Buy It Now or Best Offer, and currently I have a best offer of $480. Should I take it, or hold out and wait?

If you don't mind me asking, which iPad did you sell and how much did you sell it for?

Sold my 32gb wifi only for $475 on craigslist. Ebay prices are around 500-550 for it.. so I made a good deal. No ebay hassle or fees and cash in hand.

sold my 16wifi for $470 w/ 3screen protectors and 1 sleeve! The sleeve + screen protectors cost me $15 total, so I think I did well.

Sell now. The longer you wait the more people will 'sell' their iPads aswell. Flood the market with second hand iPads and you will just get less for your money.

Your going to sell it ... might aswell do it now.

iPad 32GB are £320 on eBay .... theyre going for £510 in UK. Its only going to go down and I cant wait to bag myself a bargain

No they are not £320 on eBay, I just checked and the average going price right now is about £400-420, I don't know where your getting the 320 figure from.

Also I sold my 32gb 3G for £480, so you can still get decent Money for the iPad, that is until people go mad and stick a million iPads on eBay then the price will drop like a tonne of bricks.

I just sold my 16 Gig wifi through craigslist today. Got $400 for it. People were trying to lowball me citing the fact that apple is set to announce a new one next week.

So it must be news by now, people who don't follow tech blogs are aware of it.

If you are thinking of selling to upgrade, sell NOW. I suspect the going resale price is going to drop at least $100 next week.
