i think people are really stretching their imagination. It obviously means iphone5. Since 90% of the public would consider it the 5....only people who are on forums call it the 6
I usually don't bother posting in the name game threads, but what if the "5" was for 5 years since the iPhone was first released?
The "5" is for the age of the iPhone. See my thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1434352/.
the invitation says ITS coming not They're coming.
it meaning one thing... iPhone
That's awfully definitive for speculation. If they wanted to celebrate 5 years of iPhones, they would have done it at WWDC when it was much closer to the original iPhone release date.
Although what you said is plausible, this year's WWDC was not an iPhone event. The September 12 event is an iPhone-exclusive or at least an iPhone-dominant event. Therefore, it is a more appropriate event for the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the iPhone.
It "could" mean any number of things. It likely means one thing. Now this could mean one of two things.
I've always thought that naming the next iPhone the "iPhone 5" made the most sense. I haven't met one person in real life that refers to it by any other nomenclature.
The iPhone would have to be new for there to be a new iPod touch, therefore it's the iPhone 5, not 5 new products. Without the main big one, you couldnt have more than 3 max.So, the invites have just been released.
The 12 which represents what day it'll be on clearly resembles a 5 in its' shadow.
Now this could mean one of two things.
Either the iPhone 5, or the possibility that they will release 5 new products.
So?
New iPhone
New iPod Touch
New iPad Mini?
New iPod Nano?
New iPod Shuffle?
What're your thoughts? & What do you think could be the possible 5 products?
$5 off every product in the apple store.
That's the whole keynote.
"Hi, I'm Tim Cook. $5 off everything in the Apple store. Thanks for your continued support. Looks like a bright future ahead for Apple. See you in six months!"
