That's almost exactly the same numbers I had on my august challenge, and I can admit I did not make it.

The problem is that I had summer vacation in July so by basing the numbers on my July numbers I was doomed since I move a lot less when I also need to make time for work.
Work and sleep. Plus it’s good to spend some time with Mrs AFB as well. We walk together, but that’s about it for exercise.
 
So like some others, I have a calorie goal - first time I have had one of these (started using an AW in February).

Since I normally don't follow the total number of calories I bur, I don't yet know how this one will go. On days when I do longer runs (7 miles or greater) I have exceeded the 1316 calories mentioned in the challenge. On days when I run 4 miles, or not at all, I maybe get around 1000 calories. I am assuming that the calories in the challenge are Active calories, as opposed to Resting calories, since the 517 calories in the screen shot below match the Active calories I have burned so far today.

Mine is 1520 exercise minutes, which is 50 minutes per day.

It's doable, but the next few days at work are gonna be really long so I'll need to carve out some exercise time somewhere so I don't fall behind.

Been awhile since I’ve had a mileage challenge. But this is the kind of thing that has me thinking that Apple is secretly listening to my conversations. I’ve been talking lately about getting back into running. Even signed up for a half-marathon next April. So maybe they’re trying to push me into the running. Doc told me to lose a few lbs yesterday too at my physical. 162.3 miles this month to get my pixelated medal.

I normally walk 3/4 a mile each way to and from the park and ride vanpool to work. Most of my exercise is elliptical and circuit training with a little bit of treadmill and stair master mixed in. So this one will definitely be a CHALLENGE to complete, unless the watch gives me credit for my elliptical time as walking. I use another app called SweatCoin which does. So there’s hope. I never ever run, I cycle! Why don't I ever get cycling challenges?! I missed August (closing all rings for every day) because my battery threw a wobbly one day and needed recharging twice as it just died as soon as it got below 50% and this month (as with other running months) is also a no no. Ah well.

Those days suck. I wish they’d incorporate a way to include the data collected on the phone. Surely if they can count the steps without the watch they can then anticipate that you’ve stand for at least once during whatever hours given if you’re taking steps then you’d be standing?
