Me love it :D If apple made cars. They would be the best in the world...
Meh.

If Apple made cars, you'd need a wrap it in rubber to keep it from scratching.

The steering wheel is replaced with a touch-sensitive scroll wheel, and you'll need to take your foot off the clutch to press the gas pedal.

Thats still my iBooks background and this is now my MacMinis...

In this thread there are many thumbnail images of desktops and occasionally some very large pictures are part of the post. I was attempting to share some pics as well and was unable to do so because the size exceeded the maximum permitted of approx. 250K.

I am using OS 9.1 and I took the screen snapshot by using the Command-Shift-3 method. Since that must be incorrect, does anyone have a workaround for this? Thanks and feel free to PM if that is your preference.

For a thumbnail, you can upload your picture to Image Shack, which will then create a "Thumbnail for forums".

Hope this helps.

I do appreciate your prompt reply ... I tried it twice, but what I received in return was a message saying that the integrity of the files prevented uploading. Oh well, now it is time for the NFL. :)

Is the file you are trying to upload still a .pict? Use Image Preview (the photo viewer that was bundled with Quicktime) to convert it to a JPEG.

As I am still currently dependent on the world of OS 9.1, Image Preview is not at my disposal. When I took the screen snapshot by holding down Command-Shift-3, the resulting image is saved as "Picture 1" ... it is a Simple Text picture once highlighted and Get Info is looked at. I can hardly wait to shed the shackles of OS 9.1.

GraphicsConverter is still available for OS 9, is it not? Maybe you could try that.

Image Preview came bundled with quicktime back in the day. The other suggestion of GraphicConverter looks like your best bet.
