"patience is a virtue". Good to know it works. So don't panic, just wait!
Hello I'm having some problems with my Mac Pro 2009 Mac Pro.I just updated my Mac Pro 5.1 from Sequoia 15.7.3 to 15.7.7, using OCLP 2.4.1.
I started the update from the system (Software Update).
At that point, OCLP launched and downloaded something.
Then the restart took a while, and I was a bit worried because my Mac seemed to get stuck at the beginning of the progress bar… 🙂 But after about 10-15 minutes, it continued!
So don't panic, just wait!
Once I got to the session log, the colors were off because macOS had cleaned up the graphics files.
OCLP offered to redownload them, and everything is working perfectly now.
Voilà !

Yes, no problem at all. I tested Safari with no issue, but I don't use it.1. Safari and App Store app work with out crashing?
Yes both my front USB1.1 ports are functional. Note that under Sonoma and Sequoia (and Tahoe) you must use a USB hub on which you connect your keyboard±mouse to activate the USB ports during install (so that they are detected).2. Your front usb ports work when you connect an iPhone?
Thank you for your reply.Yes, no problem at all. I tested Safari with no issue, but I don't use it.

I don't have any iPhone sorry.
Yes there is a thread regarding this issue on this forum. There is a solution posted on that thread.I moved from Monterey to Sonoma because the software I needed dropped support for Monterey. I used OCLP 2.4.1 and the move to Sonoma worked fine. I did a safari update and now safari can't load web pages. Safari starts up fine but can't load webpages. Does anyone have this problem? I have 4.1->5.1 mac pro with rx460.
Can you point to me the thread? I've looked for hours these past few days. English is not my first language and sometimes it's hard to understand what I read. Thank you.Yes there is a thread regarding this issue on this forum. There is a solution posted on that thread.
my experience.... I have several Mac Pros in my office. some of them experience the Safari problem you mention, however other machines do not exhibit the problem 🤷♂️
