I think sleep score is there anyway for older models.

But to be fair you have a natural S10 and a slate S11 coming so really the best of both worlds and whatever mood takes you. And the mix of straps!
I just reordered again, and went with slate.

No point in getting another natural.

Thanks for making me realise 👍🏼.

I have a series 9 currently but it has 85% battery health and I currently have to charge it mid day if I want it to last all day, especially if I want to workout that day. I charge it to 100 before I go to sleep with it on for sleep tracking, and it’s really frustrating. Especially when I’m out and about on the weekends or something and I can’t easily charge it at my desk or something. I have an 11 preordered but it’s literally just for the battery life, my series 9 will get all the “new” features as I don’t need cellular. Debating cancelling it and just dealing with the battery life issue for another year.

It’s basically like the AWU 2, all over again.

Sleep score is coming to S10?

Do you have any links?

My slate order was cancelled, so I placed a new order. I thought about it, and natural goes with any strap. I don’t think that’s the same with slate, so I ordered natural.

Anyway, hope this order completes.

By the way, I’m installing the OS26 RC beta on all of my devices.

You?
Yep on it now :) including my 5 ATVs

Popped in here looking for thoughts on replacing my Series 10. After reviewing Apple's website, I don't think I will do that. From what I can tell, these are the differences:

The S11 is 5G capable.
The S11 has the "wrist flick gesture." EDIT TO ADD: S10 has this as well.
The S11 is rated for 24 hour battery life vs 18 hour for the S10. However, various posts question how that is calculated.
The S11 is listed as Wi-Fi 4 (2.4GHz and 5GHz). The S10 is listed as Wi-Fi 4.
The S11 has a more scratch resistant glass.

I'm mainly interested in the sensors/health and wellness stuff. That all seems to be the same. Think my path forward will just be a new band.

Would appreciate any thoughts/comments from others. Also, did I miss anything?

The S10 also has the wrist flick gesture.

I pre ordered, and cancelled about three times, as I couldn’t decide.

I’ve ended up realising there’s literally no point in me “upgrading” my S10.

Yep, there's literally no point to upgrade from a S10 other than if you want a different finish this time ! I'm gonna spend my money's on bands only and I gonna start with the link bracelet !

Up till 2 weeks ago I had a SS9 and two Titanium 10s one is a Hermes, because I never wear my 9 any longer (it is definitely heavier than the 10) I took it to Apple Store and traded it in before the value dropped and got a gift card to use toward my new phone. I have absolutely no desire to get the 11. Much of the new features will be upgraded on the 10. When they make it thinner and lighter then I will buy the new one.

Interesting. Apple's compare chart doesn't show that the S10 also has the wrist flick gesture.

5G and more scratch resistant screen. That’s all.

That and making official what has been a reality for years: Apple Watches last more than 18 hours.

The Series 11 has stolen the crown from the Series 8 as the worst update ever.

I’m a former Ultra user. The only way I would ever get a new Ultra is if they can make it far lighter. I love the weight of my S10.

I would love to see the Series line get a much bigger screen and, ideally, the flat screen of the Ultra.

I think if they included all of those changes, it would cannibalise Ultra sales.

I traded my black Ultra 2 in on the S11 Ti. I had not worn my U2 for months due to its bulk. I know it is not an upgrade but the black U2 was not gaining value

Do you think having 5g will have a stronger signal? What would be the benefit?

For the Ultra, Satellite SOS connection is the most significant upgrade. Then slightly better battery life (still waiting for reviewers on this). It's a small upgrade nevertheless.

The claimed slightly better battery life on the AWU3 is a non factor for me. I charge my Ultra 2 every two days, an extra 6 hours won't change that, and I don't run ultras/Ironmans, or do any workouts long enough to completely drain the watch.

The Satellite SOS is a pretty edge case scenario. I do sometimes go to the gym or for a run without my phone, or leave it home if I'm running out to do a quick errand - but if I'm going anywhere so remote that I'd be needing Satellite SOS, my phone would be with me, fully charged, and with a power bank to back it up.

I have the U2 and ordered the U3. Satellite SOS and wide angle screen, which at my age are meaningful.

I am in EXACTLY the same position. I rarely wear my Ultra/2. Two reasons, bulky and I have an extensive collection of "real watches" But.. I travel a fair amount, the Apple Watch in general has been a real asset, primarily in the notifications.

As an Ultra 2 owner, I was also looking forward to a possible Ultra 3. Now after the keynote, I might be looking forward to an Ultra 4 next year 🥱. A change makes no sense to me
Same here, the Ultra 2 is still up to date and has the same features as U3 except satellite (which is not really useful in my country).

My decision still stands to wait until next year to see if the AWU4 is meaningful enough for me to upgrade. I still get the hypertension alerts and sleep score and with a battery capacity of 99%, I do not see any reason to upgrade. The AWU3 still doesn’t have anything that I am in dire need of.
