Kind of a shame they got rid of so many colors of the leather loop, I remember there being more than just two options before. I hope they add more than just the blue and smoke gray leather loops they have in the store right now...

Coming from a SS Series 0 (which I love), the ceramic is a nice change. It's simple, clean, and looks much better in real life than photos. When the sun hits it, it sparkles.

I wonder if this Watch will be more scratch proof than the stainless steel version?

Anyone have any experience with scratches or chipping on the ceramic? Couple weeks in and mine still looks flawless.

Here http://imgur.com/a/G1QPf are some pictures of my ceramic with some different bands that both my wife and I own.

Still not 100% positive I'm keeping it, or if I will return and get a Hermès. I owned an original SS AW, and it has proven to be a watch that can be worn every day. No mater the day, goes great with shorts and tee shirt and dresses up nicely to wear for special occasions.

I am not sure the ceramic will be able to be my only watch like the SS used to be. SS always will be classy and able to dress up nicely, just not sure the white ceramic will fit the bill for any and all occasions.

Maybe it will be after apple releases some other band options.

If you think it can be used all the time, what bands would you use to dress it up? For say business meetings, weddings and other times you would wear a high end classy watch.

I think that you could get away with wearing it every day and just change the strap depending on whether its shorts & t-shirt, a night on the town, day in the office or wrapped up on a wintery day.
Nearly everyone wears black or silver watches. Be different, be hip. Its classy.
Wear a white leather for the office, a loop for the evenings and a sport for the summer days. The ceramic would look stunning with the Nike ventilated white band
[doublepost=1476042749][/doublepost]The problem with the Hermes is that its a lot of money for an SS and no-one will know that its a Hermes unless they own one themselves. You could easily buy an SS and tart it up to look like a Hermes.

Office - leather, leather loop or black link

Dress up - leather or black link (no loop)

Casual - sports bands to match the shirt

I don't really like any of the nylon bands

True, I probably wear a sports band 75% of the time maybe more, so with the Hermès, I probably would wear the orange sport band some of that time, and the leather would be used with my SS link to dress up the other 25% of the time. The main reason I like the hermes is the classy look with the leather and their faces, but are those couple of things worth the extra money when it is possible to just get a SS and buy a hermes band.

The ceramic definitely stands out as different, and I can see myself switching the sports bands a lot more now, were with my old SS I used to wear my white band most of the time. Making me regret not buying some of the other colors l liked that are now discontinued.

If you get on google, you can still find brand new genuine apple leather and sport bands for sale. The marine blue was discontinued a whole back but they are still available still other suppliers. Just ordered one in preparation for my Ceramic if it ever arrives

Less than 24 hours after finally tracking one down a day after launch in Tokyo, I was in the elevator at BIC camera when an old woman turned the corner and started towards me... Instinct caused me to thrust my arm out to keep the elevator from closing - which it did - with surprising force - right on my new ceramic watch. EEK

I spent a lot of time that day inspecting it for damage but ultimately decided it hadn't been affected at all - whew.

Only had mine a few days and nothing, but being ceramic that is what I am expecting. Had some minor scratching on my SS with daily use, having a ceramic now I expect it to look flawless this time next year still.

Looks like the 42 in Miami sold yesterday. Only one showing in istocknow is toronto.

Try this. I am in the UK and a lot of these suppliers seem to have genuine bands of all types and colours including marine Blue which is a lovely color and will look great with the Ceramic

https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=apple+42mm+"marine+blue"&tbm=shop

or try KCRS as they have loads of bands at last years prices

I've been getting an audible rattle on notifications with my ceramic edition, likely due to the loose strap attachments. Anyone experiencing the same?

No, but this is the first AW that I've had were siri tells me to often hold on and she'll tap me when she's ready...Prob something new in watchOS3 or iOS 10, but I've used 2 other both SS watches with both w/o this happening, that and not all my texts seem to be going to watch. May be a software issue, did a hard rest tonight, will see if that helps. Just odd that it corresponds to my first non SS watch.
