Does the ceramic edition have an exclusive watch face?
No but it should!!!

I've been getting an audible rattle on notifications with my ceramic edition, likely due to the loose strap attachments. Anyone experiencing the same?
I would let apple know asap... you may need a repair or a replacement. My edition does not rattle... knock wood!

Of course I just got it in my head I want to trade in my series 0 SBSS for this one and nothing to be found until at least the end of the month. I did notice that Best Buy switched from "Sold Out Online" to "Coming Soon," whatever that means.

Anyone else lovingly wipe off, and admire their Watch every night before docking it?? ...or am I the only one...:p

Yes I do, not on ceramic, but since the original Apple Watch. I actually use Meguiar's Interior Car detailer on a super soft cloth every single night before charging. Otherwise, residue from sweat and washing hands starts to build up on the back of the watch.

Well I finally got mine. The flag ship store in the U.K reopened in Regent Street yesterday after a refurbishment and they had a 42mm ceramic in stock and so I reserved it, cancelled my online order and have just picked it up. It's looking good and no loose strap connector fitting like my first one had. Sat on the train charging it up and trying different bands. It looks good with the blue loop, white sport, ocean green nylon and the marine blue leather classic.
Already had 5 people with AW's on the train asking me about it and saying how sharp it looks in white

Going to try it! I wipe the build up off every evening too

I think some of these photos would benefit with the exposure being lowered, it's a bit overpowering compared to Apple's shots. But thanks for this thread! My plan was to buy a first gen Apple Watch to see how I get on with it, treat it well and sell it in good condition before jumping on a more expensive one. The ceramic is that model for me! Looks incredible - plus I like the very concept of using ceramic as a watch material.

Anyone who has both a Ceramic Edition and an original Stainless Steel... could you test whether or not you hear the taptic engine rattle on app message alerts? I get an audible rattle that I didn't get on my original SS watch, but the Apple Store said it was the "same as other Ceramic Editions". I want to gather more data before I escalate things.

I don't know if this helps.... I've had my edition (ceramic) 3 weeks. Wear all day every day... and I have zero rattle of any kind. I have my haptic setting on the middle setting. Good luck I hope your issue is resolved quickly. We've spent way too much to settle for any defect.

42mm Ceramic lead times dropped from November 7-10 earlier today to October 28-November 1 this evening. Apple.com now says 1-3 business days.

No, both seem the same.

However the digital crown on my ceramic is "softer" than my SS, which didn't bother me until it started being no responsive. I need to push it several times before it responds (not all the time, but enough that I notice it daily at some point). If I push it/hold just a 1/2 sec longer it jumps right to siri. The dock button does same but not as often.

I showed it to someone at Apple store, they didn't consider it an issue. Told me it felt normal to them, it even took him more than one try to get the app screen up. Said not to worry, if it becomes an issue thats why there is a warranty and I could still add Apple care + if I wanted to. I left, but am considering returning watch since my return period ends on Monday. I can then order another one now or at a later time. For the money it cost, I don't want to be worried that there is something off and I'm just waiting for it to break.

Maybe I'm being picky, but my original SS never and still doesn't have this issue and I've worn it daily since May 2015 until just recently. I've even wore it the other day now that this has been happening daily just to see if it would happen.

I'd return it. Don't put up with something you are not completely happy with. It is a lot of money so you won't forgive yourself if you keep it past Monday. I do hate sometimes when geniuses give this lazy solution to an issue "buy applecare". It's meant to be about customer satisfaction - which Tim loves to go on about!

Apple has one chance at this for me. If the watch isn't perfect it's going back for a refund. I refuse to mess around with $1300 and then have to wait longer for a replacement.
