I’m probably staying put. I always have my phone on me so doubt I would benefit much from the Lte version.

i'm waiting to see how much adding it will cost on my carrier before i make my mind up. it's officially "coming later this year" but not available at launch.

Definitely staying put.
1. I'm not buying a watch with LTE. The battery tech is not there yet.
2. The non-LTE series 3 only brings talking Siri and faster chip. Thing is, I find the S2's performance to be more than sufficient.

I was hoping Apple would drop series 1, and dropping the price of series 2. But they didn't do that, keeping the not-so-waterproof series 1. Was hoping I can get a cheaper S2 for a backup watch.

If they put sapphire screens on the aluminum model I would have upgraded. My series 2 screen is scratched despite trying to be careful with it. Alas they did not so there is no reason for me to upgrade. I don't really see anything on the new one that makes me want to upgrade. I just don't need LTE on my wrist, and when I go for a run I have my phone anyway, if only because there is no podcast app on the watch and I prefer podcasts when running over music

would like one but don't like the red dot and don't want to spend more money after just getting the 2 earlier this year. will wait at least for the next version.

Just deciding between 3 or 3LTE, I really don’t need LTE but it would be nice when I go for run to be able to stop turn on LTE and check messages and calls then turn it off. Or I just go to the store and don’t have to worry about always taking my phone.

I’m really having a hard time deciding, if you can’t turn it off and on easily I’ll just get the regular model.

This thing needs a larger screen to be half way useful. This is the only device that I don’t mind Apple making bigger and wider. The current model looks like a dainty girls watch on my arm.

Planning on upgrading if I can get a decent price for my Series 2. Unlike iPhones, there's less ability to pass down older hardware to family members and extracting longevity out of them. The cost to upgrade (assuming reasonable resell value) is nowhere near as painful as an iPhone either...

Probably upgrade from S2 Edition to either Hermes or Edition. I only want the LTE for notifications. I don’t plan on streaming music as my S2 typically loses 25-30% battery after a 1.5 hour workout while streaming music. Even worse when I go for a 4-5 mile outdoor run.

I definitely don't want LTE on my wrist, so that's out. I'm not entirely sure if there's enough benefit to upgrade to S3 non-LTE. Need to consider that.

many of us Series 2 owners are in the same boat, the built in Barometer in the Series 3 is kind of a big deal for truly accurate fitness measurement so theres that reason to upgrade to the series 3 but is it worth selling the series 2 stainless steel apple watch and taking a loss on the sale of the Series 2 is something i havent decieded yet , i could care less about LTE on the wrist, thats not something i'll be using

I'll have to read more about the barometer, but I was under the impression it was more useful for elevation and flights. I know it's got a faster chip, any improvements to the battery?

yes

Going to get the SS space black LTE verison

think LTE will be useful for things like going to the gym and going swimming and even as simply as going to the shops to get something or go shopping.

Thats incorrect, The barometer is responsible for measuring a lot of things including every day activities such as going up stairs which are rather intensive activities that the Series 2 watch simply doesnt track as it has no barometer thats why having the barometer built into the watch is such a big deal, they should have included it in the Series 2 last year but Apple did this on purpose to make it a selling point for the Series 3 this year.

I'm definitely upgrading. I'm so sick of carrying my iPhone with me when I run just for emergencies.

Plus, the Series 2 is still to slow and laggy. It's better than the Series 0 but still has a lot of room for improvement.
