Mine arrived this morning, all setup nice and easy.

Having had a 1st Gen for 6 months that died just before watchOS 3 was released I have to say watchOS3/Series 2 is blazing fast, previously you'd say "Hey Siri" and then wait, a couple of seconds later it would vibrate signalling you could ask it something, once you had asked it something it wouldn't show on screen for a good few seconds but would vibrate again to indicate it was planning on doing something. Here you say "Hey Siri" and it's there waiting for input, I say my command and the text is appearing as I say it and a moment later its doing it. This will be a big improvement for my HomeKit stuff!

I was lucky enough to grab an AWE from the local John Lewis yesterday after having one on order with Apple from launch day with an 3.10-7/10 delivery date. And I absolutely love it.

I can't believe how much the value of the 1st gen ones has crashed though. A couple of weeks ago O2 Recycle were offering £180 for a 42mm SS and today its only £110. Shocking!

Ordered mine via the Apple Store app yesterday morning at 7am and picked it up from Selfridges midday, well happy with it, never had one before!

Gutted. Ordered my Space Black Milanese watch from John Lewis, and it came extra quickly and arrived yesterday.
It looks amazing, but I noticed today under the kitchen lights that there's a row of scratches all along the top edge of the Sapphire screen. I've not done anything to cause this so must have been like this in the box.
Unfortunately John Lewis don't have them in stock anymore either. :-(

Anyone have any experience with returning things to John Lewis?

I think someone on Reddit had this out of the box. Someone said it looked like the band had rubbed against the coating. I don't think you'll have a problem with returns. If you got it yesterday there's a high chance it's had nothing to do with you using it. John Lewis have excellent customer service.

Totally with you on this. Appears to be no stock anywhere at all so to speak.

I'm 9 days now & still Processing with no movement at all , & nothing in stock anywhere.

Seems Apple have totally underestimated the demand for the series 2 this year. I have ordered the new iPhone via Apple for last 4 years , & always moved on from processing after about 4 - 5 days. No such luck with the Watch.

Ordered 42mm SB Aluminium with sports band. 3-5 week delivery - 18th - 31st October.

Cheers

Covent Garden, London has just had a load of new stock in for pick up if that helps?

Just managed to snag a 42MM Space Black SS with Black sport band

I have seen the same scratches another Apple Watch and they were caused by DLC Milanese Strap.... It seems it is much harder than Sapphire Crystal.... In my experience John Lewis are extremely helpful when it comes to returns and Customer Service :)

Apple keep getting them. I have order with Argos. Been told they have no idea when they will get them and won't go on sale till all pre ordered have been done and at the moment they haven't had a single series 2 Watch. Seems odd Apple just release Watch in 20 more countries when the can't supply the first launch

I have been looking for the last few days and found nothing much for 42mm in aluminium black. JL/Apple/Currys all out of stock :(

I don't understand this stock situation... JL have had stock replenishment for most models at least once, except for the SS SB White model, which has also been out of stock pretty much consistently at all Apple stores since launch.

Is there a supply chain issue with SS? There doesn't seem to be any reason at all for the lack of stock, as I haven't really noticed that much of a surge in demand for any of them...

I ordered my Series 2 SS with White Sport at 08:30 on 09/09 from Apple, and had a delivery date of 30/09. Dispatched last Friday (23rd) and arrived from China yesterday (26th)

I picked up my Series 2 SS last week after the Bath store had them in stock and cancelled my online order. I am returning it at the weekend as I have been seduced by the Ceramic so i have that on order now....3 to 4 week delivery. John lewis has the 38mm Ceramics in stock but no 42mm. Hoping they may get some in the next week or so

I am waiting on a SB SS sport band model to become available for pick up but no luck.

I am secretly considering the silver and black milanese loop options- do you think it's worth it?

Hi guys, I am after a AW series 2, 42 inch in gold and cocoa, can anyone help me find what shops over here are selling?
Apple online says none near and 4 week wait.
Argos say they have nothing
JL had it this morning, got it to my cart and then said its out of stock.
Currys/PC World have none.

Is there anyone else I can try?

Cheers

I just managed to reserve an AW2 42mm white sport band for pick-up today at Covent Garden.
I was not after the white one but will at least be able to take it out for a spin and decide if it is worth keeping.
