Yeah, I'm really on the fence about the grey to be honest...
What ever works for ya. I guess there is no wrong way to wear it. I’m just OCD and thought it interesting.
It took some getting used to.
One thing I find easier is the thumb reach while using Apple Pay, which I prefer to use over a credit card.
Yeah I don't recall seeing anyone else having it orientated as such.

It is labelled on the box as Project Red but is definitely a new one. The original Project Red band was Part Number: MLDJ2ZM/A and is now listed as Dragon Red Matte (42MM DRGN RD MTE SPT W/SST PIN SM/ML)
The rose red is pinker.

Ive never really been too keen on the product red band I have because I didn’t feel it was a true “fire engine” red. How did you get them to let you swap it out?
My BestBuy preorder of the 42mm grey Edition isnt shipping until October 15.

As said previously, the old (PRODUCT) RED was IMO too red. If you look at the new color it is more in line with the other Apple PRODUCT RED products.
This new band is also a reason to buy the ceramic grey

Wondering if it would look ok with my stainless link band (not the black one) from my old SS 42mm S0. I like that band and would be the only downside for me to getting the Grey if I have to sell it.

I am on the fence as well.
After watching the video about how LTE is a "game changer" because of the AirPods.. so you don't even need your phone anymore... then seeing the guy holding them next to his gray ceramic... got me thinking about how the AirPods & AirPower are going to be white too.
Be careful though. Apple is having issues the LTE connection and battery drain. May not be all it’s cracked up to be.
For all of us keeping an eye on the UPS tracking, after sitting in Lousiville since Monday, my watch received an "Import Scan" a few minutes ago. I'm sure this was done in a batch, so most if not all of our watches should have received it already.

I'm loving the grey. I may end up ordering the ceramic just because of it. I have issues...
Agree, we all have issues, so that is why I ordered it. We don't even have them in The Netherlands so I ordered one in Germany..
It is all a matter of taste but this grey is something very special. Nio the ordinary black or the bit special white.
My only concern is how it will look with several bands. Nike's dark blue and dark grey will do, but I don't think my black sport loop will. No leather also but just some sportbands.

The grey looks like it matches my daily driver well. We will see with some better photos.
yep agreed....also this (RODUCT) RED sport band is snow tempting as the old red color does not match the Leica crown
it sure is a different red on the Product Red. I went in today and had a look and swapped it out. Now less orange and much more red!
When you say swapped it out - do you mean you just got the new one, or are you saying Apple took back your old one and exchanged it for this one?
I went in and was comparing the two (the old red was on my wrist) and when we found the new red, I went to buy it and the fog band, and the apple staff member offered to swap the red one out for the "better" colour. I think it was a one-off, not a standard practise. YMMV. It was classic excellent Apple customer service!
I preordered a S3 Hermes but now want the ceramic!
