Signed up just because I was so excited and felt the need to share. Ordered a 44 aluminum gold SB watch with apple for 9/21 date but after coming on these forums changed my mind and decided to spring for SS. Apple was backordered into October and I saw Verizon had 44 SS G SB available for 9/21 delivery. I have never preordered with Verizon so I was nervous that they wouldn’t uphold the shipping date. I cancelled apple order and went with Verizon, shipped to work so I wouldn’t miss the delivery signature. I’ve been nervous all week to get the shipping notification and I just got it this morning! Coming from west Chester, PA. Delivery on Friday! I’m more excited about the watch than the phone because my S3 watch screen shattered in a freak accident 2 months ago and I didn’t want to pay to replace it.

I don't think we missed scans. We should be fine. Don't forget because of the International Date Line items that leave Shanghai actually arrive 8 hours earlier (Alaska time) in Anchorage.
It’s sitting in Sydney. They use overnight express. It will get shipped out tomorrow evening straight to the airport of your city and into vans for distribution Friday morning.
You know how banks update overnight, I just checked my credit card and the watch and bands (but not ac+) have now actually been charged to me instead of just pending. Guess Apple is confident in it, even though it still says preparing on that site.

Mine was charged (for real) yesterday but still sitting in Shanghai since 9/17 at 6pm. Hoping they all go on those next two planes.
Same here. Strange thing is the tracking shown in this thread of others arriving the day after ours at Shanghai and already at or through Anchorage.
Right, I know! I'm just wondering if those will have farther to travel to their destination than ours. I'm only 3 hrs North of Louisville, but my phone didn't get to my CC until 3:45 am on Friday last year even though it hit Louisville on Thursday AM. They definitely don't want them to get to the local CC in time for someone to make a mistake and give them out before Friday is my thinking. Could just as easily be entirely off base though.
So glad I got in-store pickup this year. 8:00 AM on 9/21.

Me too.. flight 81 is running late taking off, wonder if the departure scans post technically after the plane leaves .. fun watching
Has anyone that ordered a 44m stainless (any color) in the first 5 mins, received any updates from Apple on shipping? I know we were all given a 9/28-10/2 window for some reason. They really didnt have stock of stainless or something...
