I was surprised to find that FedEx doesn’t even require a signature for my IPhone 10sMax coming today. I called because it wasn’t listed and they confirmed no signature needed or required. Would assume that is now the car for the watch, but maybe different for UPS.
The Apple email stating the item is shipped states that it needs a signature on delivery. At least in my case. But on the UPs site i can't seem to find mention of this.
It’s here!! However I can’t play with it quite yet because I’m waiting to pair it with the new phone that comes later today!!

Yes. If you look up order on Apple site, it should give you option to pre-sign, which of course means signature is required.
By looking at the UPS tracking page. It arrived in Goleta, CA at 6:30 AM today. That's the latest update.
Perfect in-store pickup experience this morning at Apple Bethesda Row! I had 8:00-8:30AM ET check-in.
The best part -- besides getting free Dunkin Donuts while waiting in line -- was being able to trade-in my S3 for full value and apply the $225 to my S4 purchase. My sales rep had no problems navigating the change in payment methods and I walked out super happy.

They have to sign a waiver, to get it released Apple requires a signature on all products so people don’t claim it was stolen
That’s weird. When even I called UPS they said no signature would be required too

Do you get it once your watch is Out for Delivery?
Supposedly it’s still in China, to be delivered today. LOL! The Apple website says 9/27. UPS tracking says today. I
don’t think I’ll get it today, but we’ll see.
Ok so once it is out for delivery, it should show Follow My Delivery as an option. Im not sure if its available everywhere.
Oh. Well, I'll keep checking. Hopefully it's out for delivery soon.
EDIT: So it's now out for delivery and I can't find the "Follow My Delivery" option. I'm guessing World Ease isn't covered by Follow My Delivery lol

Weird. My email from Apple explicitly states:
"Shipped: Delivers Sep 27, 2018 by Standard Shipping
No signature required for delivery."
Who knows. UPS site still says last scan was 2:55pm China Standard Time 9/21/18 but that it is on time for a delivery today 9/21/18. Comical.
