If I didn't keep my iPhone 4 I would trade it in for the samsung mythic. Not nearly as good but that's what I was looking at

I would just go back to my iPhone 3G. Yes its a little slow with the web browsing, but otherwise works perfectly. There are a couple of things I actually prefer about the 3G compared to the iPhone 4 anyway.

i agree, nothing has really launched sparks in me like they used to...

iphone 4, droid x, and evo 4g are the only ones I would even consider and really the evo 4g and droid x seem a little lackluster to me, maybe i'm just spoiled

I have had all three previous iPhones. They have all never been good at making phone calls.

That's why iPhone 4's antenna issues don't worry me. I still will use it ad an iPod touch and put the sim in the phone when I travel.

But there is no other phone on AT&T that excited me. Maybe the samsung captivate but I the Vibrant on tmobile already.

I will just keep the iPhone 4 for 10 months resell it and get ready for iPhone 5 with my new upgrade next summer.

Nothing but the iPhone is a real turn on.The rest of them are these big gray lumps and I don't have any interest in them. Only the Blaze looks different, very attractive. But,the screen is plastic and is a real turn off. Alas.

Good call.

The hardware is outdated, but Palm's webOS is superior to Android right now. Been trying to look one myself (AT&T version) on Craigslist for cheap. Like $200 now that it could be had for FREE with a new contract. The homebrew community is there, but the apps sure isn't. So barren. But a nice touchscreen w/ QWERTY is hard to resist. The original Palm Pre was the one Angelina Jolie was excited about last year.

Captivate has faster CPU and GPU than iPhone 4. Some users do experience the UI slowness but it seems to be caused by the use of live wallpapers which can be replaced with regular ones (and are not available on iPhone anyways).

Not true, for all intents and purposes the hummingbird chip IS the A4. The real differences are in power efficiency.

iP4 was shipped off today to :apple:
I'm using my 3gs now. I've been looking at the Captivate, but won't make any decisions until I get my upgrade eligibility back.

I agree, but I do think WebOS could use an update. Also, it's not free. It will set you back an entire penny.

+1 on the pre plus, I mean the hardware is outdated, but webos is so freaking cool. I hope when I'm upgrade eligible next year that they would have some great hardware out on AT&T.

Yah WebOS is nice, I soooo wish Apple's bid on palm had won. Could you imagine iOS with all of Palm's IP.

I would nothing other than a blackberry 9000. Actually I'm getting myself another one.

Even with all its problems its still the best piece of technology i have ever owned.

That about sums it up for me. I went around looking at Verizon and Sprint phones yesterday and really nothing compares. I was ready to return my iPhone 4 yesterday, but I think I am going to keep it and hope software fixes my issues.

Anyway to try out Captivate without jepordizing our unlimited plan, been thinking about swapping my iPhone 4 out for one while I'm still in the 30 day return period...

But, AT&T needs to improve... like a lot in DC.

I go to DC on business pretty often and I never had any problems there until I started using an iPhone.

But, to answer OP's question, I'll be going back to the Blackberry 9700.

Oh man I wish Apple had bought Palm too. I imagine having then webos multitask app switcher and the notification manager without need to jailbreak. Plus the patents and more...they were so worth it.

I'm planning on using a friend's old 2g (original iPhone) because my old 2g is dead. Sold my wonderful 3gs already.

I will get another 4 in a couple of months, once they work out the bugs because I love the picture quality, and I love iPhones in general.

I heard one person say they lost their unlimited data when they downgraded to an earlier iPhone. Anyone here know if that's true? I don't mind paying the extra (knowing I won't have 3g technology on the 2g), but I want to keep my unlimited plan alive.

If I was going to get rid of my iPhone 4, I would be getting an iPhone 5... because it must be June 2011 if I'm even considering ditching my iPhone 4. ;)

I was told that you can keep the unlimited plan, even when switching between phones. But if you drop the plan from unlimited to a lower data plan then you can't go back.
