Even though I watch a lot of movies this production held very little interested to me from the start. But with the addition of Rogen, it now ensures I will absolutely never see it. I can't stand the guy whether he is acting, writing, directing or producing.

How can this guy go from being in Crap Movies to a "BioPic" Of the Founders of Apple?how he is going to be in a movie that won't mention "Smoking Pot" or "tripping Balls" with James FrancO,I'm Sorry for to the Rogan Fans but this guy isn't an actor in my opinion.i don't know how Chris Bale is going to put up with a washed up pot Smoking,Stand up comedian as a Co-Star.

Good Luck Bale...

No no no no no no no just no. I'm in the minority for sure but I can't stand this guy. Just my opinion.

I agree with both these comments. Rogen may be a decent comedic writer, but personally I can't stand him as an actor. I just don't see him breaking out of his Lazy, Slacker, Stoner role to play Woz. Considering one of his few carreer awards is "Soner of the Year" from the High Times Stoney Awards, I don't see why he is even being considered. I guess the weight and the beard?

I'll admit I haven't seen ALL his movies, but the ones I have seen, including his latest "more serious" role in The Guilt Trip, he hasn't shown he can act.

Yup. Being a good comedian actually requires a lot more raw talent and knowledge than being a good dramatic actor. Not to put down the latter. A good actor is a good actor, regardless of if they started their career making people laugh or cry. But it is a relatively easier thing to evoke pathos or anger in an audience than it is to make them laugh.

As the old acting maxim goes, "Dying is easy, comedy is hard."

Yeah I know what you mean, it's like man, in real life, Charlize Theron didn't look anything like the girl she played in the movie Monster. You know the movie for which she won a freaking OSCAR!

Have you not heard of costumes, makeup and special effects. They do have people who work in these fields, sometimes, they even give them awards if they do a good job.

/s I love shallow brained tools who can't look past their own thoughts to see why a casting agent would pick a person for a role, beyond just looks.

Sorry bud, but makeup and CG doesn't hide lazy casting.

It should've been me, but I'm not famous enough of an actor to get that audition. In any case, I'm a fan of everybody involved with this movie, so bring it on!

Seriously?

This is the worst selection they could have made. If he can muster the performance he did once, in Take This Waltz, then there's a slim chance. But I figure Bale will blow up at least once.

Really? Kutcher looked a lot like a young Steve Jobs but it was his voice that ruined it for me, as far as the portrayal of Steve goes (the script and production were also huge factors).

I love Seth Rogen so I'll reserve judgement. Didn't see this one coming at all. As a previous poster mentioned he may not even have a very large role.

I don't think Ashton is a great actor but if you close your eyes and forget you're hearing Ashton's voice, it's a much better Jobs than anyone else I've heard yet. Maybe Christian Bale will do a better job but haven't heard him try.

As far as Woz, I'm surprised he's even in it based upon the script which was originally supposed to be only comprised of 3 scenes in realtime, each one occurring just before a big keynote moment for Apple. I doubt Woz was even backstage when the original Mac, iPod and iPhone were introduced so they'll probably have to shoehorn in Seth Rogan just to pay tribute to Woz.
