Depends what you want out of it. The first night I had an iPad I was sitting there thinking "um...what do I do with it?". But after using it a bit I'd rather have this then a netbook. I have been using it for things like RDP, browsing, email, etc...pretty much everything I would use a netbook for. It's all about the applications, just like any OS is. The applications make it and depends what you want to do and what you will do with it.
