You keep asking for a case that looks like the purple one you showed... Why not just buy that case? Am I missing something here?
I am looking for a case with a SIMILAR cut out
The case pictured below along with two other cases that feature that cut out are flimsy/crack and the iPhone tend to get stuck in
Thats why I am asking if anyone has any experience with a cutout on the case like the one pictured sorry if that wasnt made clear enough

Hey stfwayne, did SGP ever get back to you about the fit of the case? It seems like they would be pretty understanding about it and replace the case if need be.
Well my hunt for the perfect case continues... It has gotten pretty hot where I live and I'm guessing it has caused the case to loosen up. I had high hopes for this case but after a month or so, im moving on. My phone easily slides around in the case and that, to me, is unacceptable. I will say that the Modello has been my favorite TPU case but TPU just doesn't seem to make long lasting cases and I'm moving on.
Swapping back to my Vapor Pro for now while I decide whether to go for the Element Formula 4 or to try my hand with one of those nifty wallet cases (Book Book? Hex Code? SGP Valentinus?) since it's about time for me to replace my worn out wallet any way. The Saddleback Gadget Pouch + naked 4S is also looking mighty tempting (I have a soft spot for quality leather goods).

I can't speak for the Incipio NGP, but this case is very solid. Had it for about a month and it's worked great. Survived a few drops and feels very solid and hugs the phone quite well.
Just wanted to update everyone on the cases I purchased/looking at.
The Modello has kept its shape pretty well. No new dirt marks but you can still see the case has picked up some dirt (probably avoidable w/ the darker colors I have green). I gave the case to my gf who has a white iphone 4 which is a tad thicker than the black version. It seems to fit even tighter (also due to her slightly thicker wood jackbacks backplate).
I went ahead and did some more extensive research on the Elago S4 Glide. I emailed the company and they said that many of the cases being sold on Amazon were the 1st generation that cover the secondary mic next to the headphone jack. They were able to remedy this issue but only with specific colors and only available via Amazon directly (not fulfilled by Amazon) or via SGP's store on Amazon. Amazon sells the black one for 12 dollars and the fit is great, the matte finish is excellent and doesnt pick up dirt, the cut outs are perfect, and the look is sleek as well.
I ordered a black NGP we will see how that compares to the Elago S4 Glide when the case comes in on Saturday.

Did they specify which colors, or are all the ones sold directly by Amazon fixed? I'm also looking at those cases but was concerned about getting one with the secondary mic covered.
Supposedly the navy and black and possibly some versions of the yellow have a newer version that fixes this issue

That's exactly what I did and if you are looking at this case I would strongly recommend it because while it has a nice feel I can definitely see a lighter color picking up a lot of dirt.
Also there is a seam that goes along the middle of the sides of the phone. Its obviously from the manufacturing process but the seam is basically undetectable on the black version but very obvious on the lighter colored versions.
Stay away from orange and white, those colors have bottom piece fit issues. So far the gap bw the two pieces is nonexistant and the case fits well together.

Meanwhile, I went ahead and purchased the elago S4 Glide Case from Amazon for 9 dollars shipped. It went up to 12 shipped for the black but I absolutely love this case. Slim, elegant, nice cut outs, very solid lay on table design

They are very nice. I have an orange and it's a great looking color on either the black or white iPhone.
My case feels a little loose. The top and bottom aren't completely tight on the iPhone. Now I don't know if this is just a symptom of TPU cases or if I should try an exchange it. Other than that the case is great.
I loved my Modello when I first got it but ended up returning it because the sharp edges really got to be annoying. I went back to my trusty Magpul Executive Field Case - I haven't found anything better than that thing yet. I just hope they make a version of it for the next iphone when it comes out.
