SGP Neo Hybrid

I went ahead and ordered one of the EX Reventon Yellow cases so we'll see how that turns out. The only thing I'm not a fan of are the limited shipping options which made the order even more expensive :\
 
Just so everyone knows: even though some colors of the NEO HYBRID EX went on sale today, SGP has indicated through facebook/twitter that they will not be shipping for about a week. So at best, it may be about 2 weeks before anyone actually has these in their hands. But when someone does, please review it! :cool:

I'm leery of the QC of these since the Slider was wretched. Also worried about the silicone inner layer. The video did not make the case look like it could easily wiggle around, and silicone always has this nasty habit of not sticking to anything but your pants and sliding all over the place.
 
Colors

Just an FYI, I ordered one of these and asked on their Facebook page if we'll be able to buy just the outer frames at some point so that we can switch up the colors. They said that while they don't offer that now, they will in the future. A little variety never hurts.

According to my account page in the SGP store, mine has shipped. I hope it is really shipped, and not shipped the the Ivyskin cases.
 
Mine says shipped as well but I never got a confirmation email with tracking info or anything like that. We'll see in the next couple days if anything shows up.
 
Can't order them now but atleast we'll get some reviews before SGP restocks for the rest of us. I'm kinda worried the neo hybrid ex will have the same problems as their ultra slider.

Here's my Mini-Review (with Pics) of the Neo Hybrid (Satin Silver)


Pros:
  • Bumper Plus protection and styling (thin, thin, thin)
  • Great looking
  • Matte Silicone Shell / back feels great, doesn't feel like typical Silicone
  • Volume and Sleep button covers with Tactile feel
  • Lay-on-table design
  • Accepts more 3rd party 30 pin connectors than the Apple Bumper (tight fit)
  • Large Oval cutout for rear camera and flash
  • SGP Stienheil Screen protector included
Cons:
  • Polycarbonate Outer "Bumper" is flimsy but once on properly, case is tight. Need to be careful installing over silicone shell
  • Headphone jack opening is small. Not all connectors may work.

I like the look of the case but I think the ex would be better for me, I hate having the back covered... Now I wanna see how well the ex case reviews.
