Any difference at all in clarity between a naked screen and the oleophobic protector? Can you tell that the protector is on?

Ok so to answer some of the questions...

I cannot take a macro shot, I don't have a camera handy. But if it pertains to screen clarity, I'm not really seeing a significant difference between the glass vs the protector. I have good vision too and can't tell a big difference. In my view this thing is just to protect the screen, so to me any small difference where I have to really think about it, isn't worth thinking about. The cutout one of you guys where talking about, I don't know if they revised it. It seems manufacturers are doing a lot of that lately due to the camera and flash issue plus the rushing of making cases without an actual phone to test on. I bought mine like 6 days after launch so I don't know if the more recent ones changed. Lastly, for subjective feel of the protector, it's the thicker kind similar to powersupport so it feels similar. I do know on both brands if you dig your nail slightly into the screen you can tell it's plastic.

Oh yeah, I originally wanted powersupport too, but I needed a screen protector now and these worked out pretty well so far. And if you live in Los Angeles, they apparently will get it to you in a day. I was kinda surprised when it came the next day.

Ask the picture from the seller very kindly token and send it to me..

Basically I will say the oleophobic one give me the same feeling as naked screen but less finger print.

My girlfriend got the Anti-fingerprint one which is just like the Anti-glare version, less light refection, but you also lost screen clarity.

Overall, very happy for now and we will see when the PS come out.

Those pictures you posted are so odd because the Oleophobic actually looks more clear to me than the Ultra Clear. Makes me happy I ordered the Oleophobic off of ebay ($13.95 with free shipping too!!). The oleophobic one looks like it covers the front camera though and the ebay seller I bought from told me that there's a cutout for the front camera. Maybe the newer ones have the cutout?

Have you receive it yet? The picture is taken from eBay seller where I bought mine from.

I haven't try the Ultra Clear but I am sure the Oleophobic is very clear and crystal. Very happy:)

The oleophobic come with no cut out for front camera as you don't needed, is exactly the same quality as naked screen.

The Anti-fingerprint one has a cut out as it will affect the quality. Maybe your eBay seller haven't open the package to see yet so you can confirm here when you receive it.

(Is £11.99 plus free recorded postage here in UK, so not bad at all)

I haven't gotten it yet but it is definitely going back if there isn't a cutout for the front camera, especially since I explicitly asked that question and the seller told me that there is hole there. I don't care how clear a screen shield is, I don't want it covering that camera - it just doesn't make sense to me.

I see, make sure you report to use when you receive it. I am sure the 2 set I got have no cut out, but I wouldn't mind as it just superb clear :D

The Ultra Clear is not pictured above. Ultra Fine is the Anti-Fingerprint.

I just installed the SGP Oleophobic. I like it. It feels and looks just like the actual screen. I definitely see a reduction in fingerprints.

How is the olephoebic to the touch? Is is smooth like the screen or is it a little rougher that the ultra clear?

Is there a hole for the front camera?

Cutouts for earpiece and home button only. There is no visible degradation because this film is crystal clear. I took a shot to upload but don't know if I'll bother, it's perfect. VGA resolution anyway...

Feels exactly like the stock screen.

I expect reduced photo quality with the Antiglare protector because it reflects light differently.

I don't get it. I've asked the ebay seller twice now if there's a cutout for the front camera and he says that there is. Maybe they just started doing that recently on the Ultra Oleophobic? I guess I'll just find out for sure once I get it.

Oleophobic vs. Ultra Fine

I too would love to more screen clarity comparison photos taken between Oleophobic and Ultra Fine as at the moment I am torn...

Well, they don't offer a full-body Anti-Fingerprint, so for me the choice was easy - Ultra Clear.

Meh, if they'd offered the Oleophobic in a full-body (front and back) version I'd probably have bought that instead. I don't think it's a big deal either way. The clear films are still easy to wipe away fingerprints, which is what the coating on the iPhone's glass does. Do the Oleophobic ones actually repel fingerprints?

+1 i need a full body kit

I really wish the Oleophobic ones came with front and back coverage. I bought the EX Ultra Crystal and like it, but the fingerprints drive me nuts. And they are not the easiest to get off. It feels like i am constantly wiping the screen.
