I as well gave up on Vaja. I loved my Vaja cases, but the leather dyes rubbed off and it did not always look nice. The darker the color - the worse it was for the ivolution cases. I did find that my original iphone ivolution cases and the pouches all fit the iphone 4.

I gave away my original phone's vaja -- how foolish of me! But I had a love/hate relationship with the company -- so slow to fulfill, even slower to ship. Plus very exposed corners vs something like the sgp vintage.

Speaking of, how does the sgp compare quality-wise with vaja? Relative bulk?

In future we must consult each other on all case purchases!!! Our tastes thoroughly align ;)

There won't be any flash-related problems with this case as they're caused by internal refractions/reflections within clear cases.

You can trust me. I'm a physicist! :p

Thanks for the heads-up! Just offered $10 less than asking price (was afraid to go lower) and also got approved instantly. I've had my eye on this case. I'm planning on pairing this with the SGP Oleophobic on front and Ultra Crystal on back.

ships free in the U.S. !! Going with the sgp ex Ultra Crystal full body on mine.
 
I've just bought one @ $34.95 with $7.95 P&P

Even allowing for the postage, that's a considerable saving compared to the UK price of £39.99 ($61.19)

Now for the wait. I'm not good at this... :(
 
The £39.99 one ships for free over here, too.

I've got a cheap gel-skin type case to tide me over through the next couple of weeks, so I'd rather save the cash!
 
Has anyone from the UK ordered from the SGP website?

How long did it take to arrive? It's been 2 weeks since it shipped and still no sign....
 
Their ebay listing quotes 7-10 working days for international shipping and also notes that things can get held up in customs. A little early to start panicking yet...

Paid £39.99 but I hate waiting plus after custom/vat it work out roughly the same:)
 
I have noticed with mine that with daily use it will start to look more vintage every day. It's a great product for sure.
 
Well I got my SGP Vintage leather case in today. Maybe I am not used to these kind of cases but the top cover seems flimsy to me. I might just resell it . Not Sturdy enough for my taste. :cool:
 
Need more info on the leather

For those of you that have already received your SGP vintage leather - tell me more about the leather. Is it more like suede or nubuck or or just a really soft leather? Can you clean it or will cleaning solution just absorb into it like a suede? I purchased the iPad version but haven't received it yet. Everyone seems to like the leather but I'm still trying to get a better idea on how it is.

I broke my phone out of the Defender last night and put the SGP Vintage on since the wife and I had a "date night". I kissed the case and being able to look at the beauty that is iPhone 4. Now it is back in the Defender for work purposes.
 
Just as an FYI, I recently ordered mine off of ebay from a vendor on there. (Did "make an offer" for 35$ and got it accepted right away.) The case is a newer version. The flash/camera cutout is now an oval shape. They got rid of the teardrop design. This wider cutout should infact take care of any flash issues that some people had been noticing.

This case is awesome by the way. I absolutely love it. :eek:
 
Here is a photo showing the newer cutout by the way. Sorry for the crappy quality. Was too lazy to take out my DSLR and used the old iphone 3GS. :p

Camera flash

I'm thinking about getting the leather vintage or black argos case but with most cases, I'm worried about the camera and whether the flash will affect the photos. The latest review on the official site mentions that it interferes with the flash but what are everyone's views on the camera and flash?
