I used focus stacking app on the phone to take 50 images each and then an app on my MacBook to combine them. Btw: the bee was a dead one I found on a walk so it was easy to pose it in the flower.

Amazing you get close enough to see the actual groves in the stainless steel. The hardest part was figuring how to not shake while taking the photos. I used the end of a box that worked well for me at the time. Ironically that was my iPhone 13 Pro Max box, the right height for taking these photos.

I checked yesterday and the lead time for the 1TB iPhone 13 Pro I got (in the Sierra blue color) is now one month. Glad I ordered one from Apple and got it on day 1.

That is pretty good for the non-Pro model! I wish you could have had both and took some shots for comparison purposes. I would think that there ought to be someone out there who has both (one for their partner and a different one for themselves) who could do that for us.
